    I <3 Charlotte! I used to live in Rayleigh near the airport but Charlotte was another thing :3 the city is epic after 7pm.

    Most of my family is in Jersey, and the rest is in Maine.

    The family in Jersey lost power and had some minor flooding but for the most part are okay. The family in Maine mostly had trees, and the high winds that went through. I'm just glad my Jersey family doesn't live closer to Atlantic City.

    That's what a storm does.
    It sure is bad for all the people there but it is what it is, once it's coming you can't stop it.
    America sure did good with all these early evacuations or it would have been the Katrina disaster all over again with more deaths.

    Because the US is an Urban Populace unlike the Caribbean, we have more stuff to get destroyed. Completely changing our architectural integrity on our buildings to preempt quite a rare occurrence of mother natures wrath seems rather pointless and misguided.

    Maybe if you recommended that to the previous administration during Katrina, they might have actually listened since me and you have about the same credentials as the guy that was in charge of natural disaster mitigation.
