About Kisk

How about removing this 1 kisk limit every 2 hours?

its annoying when you want to change pvp spot -.-

kisks cooldown is 30 minutes but you have to wait 2 hours to use another one or log in on the opposite race to destroy your kisk.. common


hope something will be done with this

 

quite a logical reason for that, such as preventing spawn campers and such. what point would there be to trying to break some1s kisk to get rid of them for real when they just pop another one right next to them and keep on going

get a group, u have 6 kisks u can bind to

 

what about people that solo ;p

 

obelisk campers, lowbie killers and their kind? just pick ur place wisely lol. its to help u stay in enemy territory, not to help u own it

meh drop the "anybody who doesnt agree dont post, i only want support" act, its getting old here. what i mean is it takes the little challenge there is out of the game when u can bind whenever, wherever. its prone to abuse when people kisk everywhere along the way all the way to enemy bind and stay there

what if someone wants to pvp in another map? and he is solo? getting bored of getting zerged and want to go somewhere else?

he has to wait 2 hours or wait for someone to destroy the kisk, really?

Since I have SMs at the majority of my kisk spots, I'll just drop them with that character so my main can still place if needed.

 

There's no need for a 2 hour CD on kisk creation if the cooldown itself is 30 minutes...

This "issue" has plagued my fun many times.

 

they can always just make the 2 hour rule on a same map restriction.
and the 2 hour rule becomes void if u place a kisk in a different map.

simple as that.
that if its possible.

well its true that this is a pvp server, retail is...different. on retail people just run raksang and tia stronghold along with eso and dredge for AP, then kahrun dailies and arenas, thats about the only thing i ever see them do. oh and tia forts but chances r their kisks there break first anyway

anyways u can make ur kisk go away on gamez if u waste its charges feel like killing urself 20 times? xD

 

You honestly don't get it do you, take this as a hint your suggestion can not and more then likely will not happen.
there are multiple reasons behind this I, myself can name a few.

#1 It would enact a bigger zerg'ing problem then that of which already exists.
#2 Kisk camping would become the new mass spammed complaint thread.

I have had plenty of experience behind the controls as a GM of the former AionAtomix server, I can say with much truth that the 30min Kisk cool down was a problem with much of the games Zerg rushing new Herion(elyos were always the low faction there)

If you Honestly Do not like the fact that you can not freely roam around planting kisk after kisk so you can hound people who are actually enjoying the games PvE side(which I know is the only reason you are even complaining about the long 2hr CD) Move on to another private server that will more cater to your needs.

Also if you think that zerging isn't such a big deal take a look at AionAtomix "zerging" is what made that server inevitably shut down, though Atomix will not admit it, that is 80% of the time the root cause of any private servers shutdown.

I can a test to that; I've GM'd for Cabal(retail & private) I've GM'd for CCR's RF online( retail and private) I've pleasurably GM'd for Aion(private) I've been around the block more then once and know what causes games to go into shutdown and or possibly even rebound back from a time of low customer use.

go view that 2 of my friends on Sins with 1 Kisk at level 55.
They did all of that with 1 kisk. (I know I got called by them for the speed hacker in the Video)

 

It would make zergs bigger if the cooldown on kisk placement is lowered? 1 + 0 = 2?

People will have their kisks camped more if the cooldown on kisk placement is lowered?

1) Who said anything about having a 0s cooldown on kisk placement? Do you know what this thread is about?

2) This server has very little PvE (1%).

Really, you know that's the reason? Wanna hop off your single-sided train there and look at things with an open mind? Two hour cooldown on kisk placement is nothing but a nuisance.

If I go to a zone, lay a kisk, find the zone currently shitty and decide to PvP elsewhere, what am I supposed to do?
If I'm PvPing and I want to kisk with a group (non-legion) so that we can easily RG after a fight, what am I supposed to do?
If I'm being kisk camped and want to escape and kisk somewhere else, what am I supposed to do?

The only thing that this server ever catered to is anything donations related.

@vRisen how about doing it differently then. what would you say to lowering kisk duration to 30 minutes so that you can use it every half hour without having more than 1 kisk at a time up?

what you want to do would allow people to have 4 kisks up at any one time which means you would never really get rid of them even if you break their kisk, they would just bind to another one they have up nearby. thats not what a kisk was intended to do, to let people permanently stay in an area. you have to give the other side a chance

 

#1 aion is a zerg game anyway.. this server is mostly based on zerg pvp
#2 i am here 2 years.. never saw complaints about kisks
#3 i don't care about atomix. Here it is gamez which is the best p.server.. moving on another private is waste of time.. maybe it will get closed like atomix, retail is better

kisk campers are normal
and this 2 h limit is annoying.. seriously you have to waste your time doing suicides


In retail they can do whatever they want with their kisks.. but here it is annoying
