Emergerd Christmas

Well apparently it's December now and that means we're going to need to start looking at Christmas (Solorius/Wintersday/Midwinter/Xmas/Whatever) stuff =)

We're already discussing some event ideas internally which should start popping up over the coming days/weeks as the month goes on but if there's anything in particular y'all would like to suggest this is the thread I'll be reading for it.

Please try to make your suggestions as complete as possible. Ideas that are actually well thought out will be taken more seriously than one-liners.

Who knows - I might even start embedding loud Christmas music on random forum pages just to scare you all for laughs <:

Not sure if it's possible but,let me give ideas.
1. Snow weather in Sanctum,although Altgard has it,might be cool on Sanct.If ever someone would dislike it, we have the weather On/Off option anyways.
2. Like what you did last Halloween, maybe you could giveaway christmas candy, not sure on the name but it's the polar with santa hat one.
3. Christmas background music on sanctum. This one or this one. or whatever would fit.
4. Ofcourse the Christmas decors

Hmm here's my idea for Christmas Event.

Santa's Christmas Party​

Santa's throwing a Christmas party for everyone in Atreia. He wants it to be special but there's a problem, he can't prepare all of it by himself. He got an idea to ask the help of our community and in return he will give rewards for it. Christmas party needs to have stuff like Foods, Gifts, Decorations, etc. Santa made a list below so check it out.

Santa's List:

-Gifts-​

Santa wants a special gifts for everybody, so he is requesting for our Armor and Weapon crafters help. What he needed is listed below:

* the items (weapon/armor) needs to be upgraded, like +10 or +15 b'coz its a special gift

-List will be provided by AM as well as the corresponding prizes-


-Foods and Drink-
​

"No Food! No Party!" Santa says. So Food crafters be ready to help Santa to cook food as much as we needed.

* Foods or Drinks must be proc'ed to tasty b'coz its Christmas!

-List will be provided by AM as well as the corresponding prizes-



-Decorations-​

Well we need Decor for the party so Santa wants our gatherer to help him find the stuffs he needed to ensure the success of his Christmas Party!

* This includes gatherable stuffs close to Christmas decor like plants, ore/gems, woods, etc.

-List will be provided by AM as well as the corresponding prizes-​

You can just add some stuff on the list if I missed something and also be sure that you balance the quantity as well as the race restrictions on some items such as gatherable stuffs.

 

my idea is , make a big turmanent 25 elyos vs 25 asmo or 50 vs 50 ,
and the prize is christmas costum or candy

 

season of giving.
perhaps gamez should gift those who are in the list of AP gainers *individuals and legions* in exchange for their hard work and dedication to either zerging or organized raids.

it can be anything, since when you get a present , you never really know what your getting until you opened it.


next, maybe a random Santa Clause event? with christmas spirit gifts... courtesy of the Admin itself?

and for forumers , a simple forum event aswell ?

 

My suggestions :

- Give random bonus credits to each account that online in xmas

- Spawn 1-3 random world boss (Omega/Ragnarok/Mastarius/Veille etc.) every 1-2 hours at sanctum n pandaemonium or other city.sure it will be fun since not many ppl ever try those bosses especially in our own city ^_^

 

Naught or Nice Event:
- Players who have been good [not been reported in anyway] will receive a special gift
The special gift may be an item that randomly gives another item. Nice remo will be good.
I wont hope for credit items for realistic reasons.
- Players that have a bad track record this year will yield NADA.

Christmas Video Contest:
- Make a Christmas themed Video in-game and upload it in YouTube and make a separated thread for the submitted entries.
- Prizes will be for the AM/Admins to decide, but for the effort people will spend the prize should be nice.
Hopefully the rewards will be for all who participated (the one who won).
i.e. if three people contributed to the vid (visible in the video), those 3 people should be rewarded.

AP Special Box:
- I know this may be some kind of shoot to the moon suggestion, but it just popped through my head so i'll write it down.
- Spend a specific amount of AP to buy boxes from a special NPC.
Boxes give random stuff from Crafting Mats (Lean Cellatu Meat Plox) to Remos to Medals to Tokens
Cons:
- Will be a coding chore for developers
- Maybe exploitable
Pros:
- Will encourage players to PVP more (Yes, Zerg. Ofc Zerg)
- AP will have another use. (Although these have been discussed in numerous threads already)

Christmas Circuit Race:
- Port people to a special map where they will be required to use Mounts to race around the Map/Track.
- No attacking of other players. Well if both races will be present that should be fun. LOL
- Again let AM/Admins decide the prize.
Cons:
- Another coding chore.
- Maybe exploitable if both races join in a single race and the participants know each other (can gang up on others)
Pros:
- Just sumthing fresh.

 

replace Ragnarok as Big Santa Claus and then all race will kill him and let him drops tons of CANDIES ^^

 

Event Christmas..

make it simple but has a deep meaning.. would not think to preserve it in a picture..

a special day christmas is the day where families get together .. giving gifts .. dinner together ..

i think many player here have friend, legion mate, mybe BF or GF.. and they are all like family. :')

so this is juts photo contest so all player can join.. dont care what they set or they weapon or they rank..

christmas is for ALL right ??

 

Some people probably don't have time for events cuz of classes / exams so a nice special store would be awesome :3

 

I will be happy with 3.5 update, no need nothing special.
(Special shop too ofc)

 

Well an idea,

You can be Santa Alente this Christmas and gift something

Like credits, a gift box with random items, Christmas candies like last year.

Or you can make an event.

Spawn some mods that drop something.. we have to gather a lot of those and exchange them for prices (like the Christmas weapon's)

 

Free /add command for 10 mins, the date & time is unknown.

Seriously on topic:

I would like to have GAMEZ AION updated to 3.5 with all the sets and weapon available "ONLY" the week of christmas and so fort as much as possible. But if it aint possible then I should wait patiently for these updates takes place this year or next. There's nothing more interesting part as for me to have GAMEZ updated to 3.5 completely with the new sets of armors and weapon.
