Hi guys~
So I didn't know where to put this, so general thread it goes in, so sorry if it's in the wrong one ; w; was trying to find a "newbie" themed thread but no-avail. Anyways

Hi guys, I'm a new player here! I played the original Aion about a few months back and got a level 50...ish ranger on Asmodian and due to college issues, I had to take time off.
So I decided to come back and I landed up here. I hope I'll get to know some great people~
So, being the newbie noob of noobs here, I just had like a general question or two which I hope no one minds helping me answer them?

1. How active this is server? Judging from recent posts, I see it to be active on the forums, which is good. Obviously coming in as a new player, I will have zero friends, so will it be difficult to find a guild/friends or get along with people? I suck playing by myself, and Aion itself is more fun with PvP friends and etc. And being alone is the last thing I want to get while I'm here.

2. How is the gameplay here? Like leveling-wise, very hard, very easy, etc. PvP? If any? I don't want to be the chicken that's like "I'M STILL LEVEL 20 BUT I DONT WANNA LEAVE THE SAFE AREA CAUSE I'LL GET KILLED ; A; AJSHDKJASHD /headdesk " I'm such a weenie haha. Just a small general "lifestyle" of the server would be great. ; w;

I'm not trying to be a jerk or something ; w; I swear! I just don't want it to be like, I join a server that looks promising, but then I get on and play for maybe a week or two and no progress in friends and etc. Because it looks fun here.

Oh, I plan on joining Siel because that seems like the more...populated server? ; w; Or am I wrong?

Siel is more populated i believe so, but it does not have the stigma system. So if you like servers with op sorcs, tanks, and rangers then go siel. If you like servers with more of a challenge, go to lumiel. (NOT TURNING THIS INTO A FLAME WAR)

It is not that hard to get 60. Most people get a mentor to get them to 50-55ish. There should be plenty of people willing to do that. If you go to lumiel ask about in lfg for Godofblood/Godoftorture/Godofwound. He will add you to the legion if you seem nice. He will mentor you too probably. But if you go siel.. I have no idea.

Siel is definitely more popular, but Lumiel sounds more...fun I guess? A challenge like you said. ; w; I might go there actually, we'll see. Thank youuu

 

As Razzam said, Siel is the more populated of the servers. It has no stigma system, so each class has access to all of their skills. This does lead to some classes being more OP than others. Siel is also known more for being a "zergfest". Lumiel has a somewhat smaller population and a working stigma system so classes are not as bad there. Both of the servers have a relatively high rate of exp so it should not take you too long at all to level. You can typically hit 50+ in relatively three hours or so. Also if you're looking for a legion, you can always check the legion discussion forums for the races.

Is it really less zergy at Lumiel now? The last time i asked some Lumiel players they said that Lumiel is even worse when it comes to zergs. Just wondering if its worth looking in to. If its actual decent pvp might move a character there.
