Sorcerer have cap in Magic boost again!

nah every sorc thread leads to bashing sorc for having a high hitting skill ignoring pretty much everything else about the class. this is very much the norm these days

Word of Destruction, Curse Cloud, and Chain of Suffering can all be dispelled.

Because they're coupled with ridiculous offensive AND defensive skills and extremely high mobility. Obviously.

I don't recall saying that they all dealt 7,000 damage. The fact that even one of them can/does is stupid enough on its own.

I remember Gamez 1.9 sorcs and I laugh at all this.

 

The real fact here is that you're an idiot, and that Sorcerer is the most laughable class in the entire game. Not only do you have multiple nearly instantaneous skills that can DPS through the roof, but you also have multiple skills to get out of every detrimental situation possible. More than once. This is the class that NCSoft made so they couldn't be vilified because the mentally retarded were unable to play their game.

8k against ACD plate. No problem.





Full MR cleric? Still no problem when you can stack MA and still hit damage like that.

 

alright lets do them 1 by one

1. i dont recall referring to that one dp skill, in fact it is pretty weak. the dp discussion was about shadowburst
2. last i played here they werent. 1 hit from that dot was enough to force me to sit while spamming healing pots, get hp down, hp/mp exchange and get all the way down a 2nd time till near death before it expired.
3. yea erm, so is every other class? temps packing dmg while having 16k hp and 4 heals? etc, every class has this not just sorc, again invalid argument. as for mobility, name one speed buff we have? erm none? look at how many classes by now have running and flight speed buffs, now with new ones coming in the 3.7 update along with blinks and teleports. way to go
4. yes it can, look at the chances of that happening. the chances of even having enough time to cast it, not getting it resisted, not getting silenced or stun fested while doing it. ignoring the amounts of hp people have here. crits are not that common and even those are not enough.

 

yet again, storm strike not glacial, yet again a crit that rarely happens. yet again another person using insults and mockery thinking that increases the validity of an argument. sorc have by far the least instants compared to any class, in fact most of those skills have 1.5-4 seconds casting time. skills to get u out of every situation when u r nearly perma silenced with godstone spam is a nice sentiment. i dont ever see even one of u addressing the squishy nature, inexistent def and the fact that if u guys actually put on an MR set instead of QQing u would block out the vast majority of hits from an MB sorc (retail clerics with MR sets r untouchable, block around 90% of skills, outheal the rest) and ud get hit far less by MA sorc

I don't even need to see you playing, how you talk about Sorc is already enough to tell me that you're trash with it. Calculating stats and blah doesn't give you skill at all, maybe someday you can remodel your Spellbook to a calculator.

 

Check again, I just said DP and then mentioned shadow/lightburst in addition. If you're really saying that Panda focus is a weak skill then I must question whether or not you even play Aion. Maybe you used it on a mob?

Well that's it. I guess these two DP skills with one hour cooldowns are ok to mention but lightburst/shadowburst is not? Nice logic there. I guess we should compare CC and WoD to the other massive damage skills which cleric and SM have? Oh damn they don't. That's pretty much it, and even then the damage is cumulative and not instant like yours.

Temps have two heals. One of them comes at the price of removing the remove shock buff. The other one is one a 6 minute cooldown. They do have a third heal however it's a DP skill with 30 minute cooldown so far from being imbalanced.

Oh damn. He said invalid argument I guess that's it for me. Just kidding of course, don't be stupid. The point was that you have all of this IN ADDITION TO skills which can kill another player in two hits.

Mobility != Speed. You have 3 teleport skills. They remove any and all movement impairing debuffs. Learn to words.

Yes, they are. As someone who has pvp'd on gamez for 100+ hours since it was updated to 3.0 I can assure you that these crits are quite common. An hour long session of group pvp in Heiron will yield you 5-10 storm strike crits if not more.

I'm sorry but you're completely wrong about your beloved class, and it's current state in PVP.

Just because YOU say it rarely happens doesn't mean it rarely happens. I do have MR sets, and I am still constantly hit from magic based attacks from non MA stacking classes. I'm guessing you're complaining about sorcs being squishy because you don't actually know how to play a sorc. If you even get touched by a melee class while playing sorc, you're doing something wrong.

And I'm not trying to mock or insult you. You told me to bring the facts, so I did. If something is shown to be consistent, without deviation, then it is most likely that thing. I've seen you always try to get the last word in, falter on simple mathematics, and throw around shoddy terminology that you probably heard the day before. This is how I came to the conclusion that you're an idiot. I don't know where you got this self inflated, perceived air of superiority. In Czech, they might think you're the best because you can do some hex editing, or maybe it's just because you have a computer, I don't know, but it's not nearly as impressive here. Every time i get hit by glacial shard and storm strike its a critical hit if they cast Magical Assist . If you want to kill a sorc easy just make an MR chanter I have one and he also has 560 Fire, Wind, Water, and Earth Resist makes for a pretty easy fight. Every class has their enemy pros and cons this thread is just about pointless and so off topic from were it started inched:
