Go to your Aion\L10N\1_enu\data\ folder and check the modified date on the zData.pak. The file size should be 2,136kb with a very recent modified date. If it has 1,882kb and older, delete it and run your game with the gamez launcher so it downloads the updated version.

If you had the old version, but use the gamez launcher normally, tell me, so we can check if there is an issue with the updater

    turn off user account control

    Vista/Windows 7 only

go to control panels -> users/user accounts -> user account control (last option)
Vista - uncheck the box, accept, restart your PC
Win 7 - drag the slider all the way down, accept, restart your PC

alternatively u can right click the ncsoft launcher and run it as administrator (won't work if the launcher is running in the background

My game starts fine and has no issues when I play on retail, but when I use the GamezLauncher and login, I hit "Accept" on the User Agreement and I get this error:

I'm using Windows 8 pro 64bit and have already tried repairing and reinstalling the GamezLauncher. Just posting this in case someone knows the cause. Thanks in advance for any info.

all win 8 people have this issue right now, just as they did back in 3.0.0.4 without the win 8 fix, will need to get another one as it seems

Yea, I figured it was a Windows 8+Gamez issue, just tossing it out there in case someone comes across a new fix. Thanks.
