On templar it's quite easy since robust blow and dazing have short animations. So after robust you can either slide wrath strike or magic smash instantly.

 

dunno if it's correct or not w/e 150-250ms, had to stop recording alot cuz of fraps getting retarded.

ye, but other don't really see you jumping while doin it

 

from what i know and wat i saw, when u slideshot, even though ur on the floor and u don see someone jumping but there still is a jumping animation from wat ive seen.

uh is this all about timing? i should try practicing and see if it is easier to use than the weave one.

how about practicality?
the weave one i notice is sometimes difficult to execute because u hav to get the right timing of ur normal atk and the target is moving most of the times which makes it more complex, since u hav to care about the range as well.
but this one, maybe easier to do in field once u get the hang of it?

 

oh so its the jumping thing... i thought its something different.
i never knew they dont see you jumping which in fact what i see in the screen , my toon was jumping.

It's not 'the jumping thing'

Jump-sliding requires you to jump before and during the attack that you slide. This method simply requires you to during the attack which is normally stationary.

 

less practicality since it's harder but if you get it right and depending on the class it could be more usefull (chasing clerics with glad and sliding wrathful strike )

yea is it like ? ? ? . its like ? ? ? its doing the skill (that suppose to require you on 1 point) animate while your jumping making you see in your own screen that your doing the skill in mid-air.

you can also cancel animation when u jump and land then skill just like how rangers cancel animations in most of its skills.

 

i will use this technique to slide instant fear,thank you guys.

Okay so I kinda got it, hard doing it on a laptop though. I will have to do more with it when I get back. I notice that you combo it right after another skill, or something to add an animation that you are able to cut midway (Going out of peacemode/hitting someone with an auto attack/using another skill on someone and pulling back from that animation). Is there a way to make an animation while away from your target? I was able to get some slides with some cleaves help from 15m away.
