You really should at least make a poll before changing something nobody complained about. There was nothing wrong with the old skin. Having several issues coz of this now

1. this is not a battlefield 3 forum, the banner really doesnt belong here
2. white on gray really just hurts your eyes, cant read it (newest members and other stats, the chat bubble next to section names etc)
3. ridiculous stretching and spacing out (top stats left side)

the old skin was better

 

I think it's ok beside the Battlefield thing

 

4. profile backgrounds no longer stretch properly
5. visiting profiles no longer defaults to visitor messages
6. <insert name>'s activity on profiles sure takes stalking to a whole new level xd

I myself agree and disagree with Smartik. I agree that the banner's a bit off. When I saw it earlier while the forum was still down I was like, "What is that banner doing in an Aion, MU, Tera forum?". It doesn't fit for such a community. I dislike it as well. About the change, I agree that maybe a poll about it would be nicer to see if the majority wants a change like the staffs do. Besides, the forum is for the community so why not ask their opinion? Yet then, it is done so we can't do something about it now.

But I disagree when you said they should not change something that is working fine. Sometimes, things do not have to have a problem just to be changed nor things should stay because it works fine and because people don't complain about it. Change is done not because there is a problem but because we want something new. It's not just me but of course we also get tired of same, old things, right? Change is good, specially if it's for the better. About the bugs, I think it just needs time to have them fixed and the forum can go smoothly like before - not perfect but with lesser problems. I personally do not dislike the new forum skin. Fix the occurring problems and I might like it more.

 

Actually its not the staff, its 1 guys decision alone. Lautaro made up his mind and thats the end of it. Alente didn't like the skin either btw. Yea would have preferred if people who actually use the forum were given a choice in this (whether to change it, choice of templates etc)

I also agree that change for the better is better, that was my point. Don't like when things just break down because of change.

I honestly like the new look... the old look didnt bother me either....

once the bugs are ironed out I think it should be ok... Plus them colors scheme on threads need to change... plus the icons button needs to be looked at...

The folder thing icon isnt cutting it... I like to look at the icon to tell when its a new post or not.. those that know what i mean will understand...

The banner... well I don't know, only the creator knows why he chose that banner ... Its not a bother to me..

The banner will not have anything to do with my posting....

 

Put some boobs on the top instead of the Battlefield thing and it's fine.
