[Guide]Using WTFast on AION

    I've been getting questions about how to use WTFast on AION and noticed the old guide we had around have been deleted or so that's what I think since I couldn't find it anymore so I decided to create a new one.

    First off, let's start with "what is WTFast"?
    - WTFast is probably the most popular ping reducer software among AION players, if not then at least within this server.

    Here's a link where you could get, read a lot more info and register an account for it: https://secure.wtfast.com/

    Now let's get into the guide itself.

    1. After making an account, downloading the software and installing, log-in your WTFast account. Personally I prefer checking Remember Me and Start the last game since it makes things easier and faster when you open it again.
    2. Hit the Configure button.

    3. A new window will pop-up. On this new window, hit the first Browse button.

    4. Find where your aion.bin is located which is usually on C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft\Aion\bin32\aion.bin. If it doesn't appear on the list while you're on bin32 folder then do hit the select All Files (*.*) which is located on the lower right corner of the window then hit the Open button.

    5. After you've done step 4. Hit the second Browse button.

    6. Find where your Gamez Launcher is located which is usually on C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft\Aion\GamezAion.exe then hit the Open and OK buttons.

    7. On the Server panel, check All Servers then on the server list, choose Chicago (Choose Best). This will let WTFast choose the best WTFast server available within Chicago for you. Why Chicago? Because you have to select a server nearest to the Gamez Aion server and as far as I know our server is located in Chicago, Michigan.


    8. Hit the Play! button.
    Playing around with the Advanced settings is all up to you but this is what works best for me after a certain amount of tests.

    Do take note that I've I tweaked my registry so this exact same settings may not work for everyone as it does for me.

    My ping is always around 20-30ms would this make is higher or lower-just curious(I know i don't need it)

    Like I said, the same exact settings I have might not work the same for everyone as it does for me but I'm pretty sure it works for most of the people, just not for literally everyone.

    Texas works for me better than chicago just depends on where u are i guess lol.

    Is there any way to test every server faster than manualy checking every one? i tried suggested one, then picked from diffrent countries and still suck. Well when i tested Texas things got worse from 180 to 250. Any suggestion?

    WTFast + leatrix only reduces my ping from 300 to 200 lol

    sort the the servers..the one which appear on top..it maybe the best server for u..just a opinion..

    a guide for getting 30 more free days now that they fixed all the exploits would be nice xd

    thats better than id expect, usually its around half (i went from 450 to 250)

    He is not playing Gamez, but WTFast is not supporting only Aion... he could play LoL,WoW,My Little Ponny, Hello Kitty, DragonBallZ
