Fly anywhere.

I have been gone a few years.
Wish I'd have voted every day since I left. Trolol.

But I am re-installing the game.
I got the items.pak and the GamezAion launcher.

If I remember correctly, wasn't there another file to replace that let you fly everywhere?
What other files do I need?

Or maybe this was just an old hack I used in retail.....
It's been a few years and I only played here and retail.

 

You're probably talking about free-fly feature which Gamez used to have.

It has been removed from the game for the regular players long ago. Only Aion Masters can use free-fly now.

You don't really need anything else other than the item.pak and the launcher.

 

Yeah sadly its been removed due to people abusing it if i remember this right.

One of the reasons why there's just Zergs now and the Game got boring...
Believe it or not, I decided to start playing Aion back in Feb 2010 just because we could Fly in this Game. (I was playing Perfect World b4 that, another Game where you can Fly.. )

Anyways, welcome back dude. Are you any of the two Asmodeus I know by any Chance? (One from Israel that had a Brother playing here and one American who was a Staff Member)

If you can program and know what you're doing, yes.
By default, no.

 

so u mean programmers have a lot of advantage in playing retail.....so the noob ones will just walk and hit by a flying programmers up in the air ? ^_^ SO SAD

 

Every game has hackers.
I myself have never looked into the programming style for MMORPGs, so I'm not sure how hard it is, but yeah... pretty much.

 

Alright, enough of this thread.

Free fly is disabled on this server outside of the Abyss and certain areas across some maps where NCSoft intended for flight to be used.

If we catch someone using flight outside those areas they will find themselves in a rather miserable position.
