    Saw this on fox news awhile ago and really shocks me, NCAA Kevin Ware of Louisville got a very...very terrible leg injury during their game. Here's the actual footage of their game;

    Yeah doc, had my forearm injury before and takes 1 month and a half for me to fully recover.

    Wonder if he can play back with that terrible injury.

    Did you really have to link picture of his injury? I almost threw up when I saw that... Poor guy though, I was hoping he will score good and play decent this season..

    hoping for a good recovery for the kid.
    i saw that game on TV live between Louisville vs Duke this morning and I was like WTF just happened?!?!
    I couldnt tell anyone here for a few hours coz i was still the only one who was awake. (the game was pretty early)

    I hope he can recover well mentally. People especially athletes that suffer that kind of terrible injury kinda makes them play differently or less confident already.
    I sure hope he will be fine

    That's absolutely true, I've been very active playing basketball long time ago when i was in high school but after getting my forearm broke while playing at school i started to lose my daily routine and the most thing i hate is i'm now having a fear at playing volleyball.

    I saw a photo of this guy's injury in Facebook and I felt so bad for him after seeing it. Made me sick too because it was so bad. Made me wonder if he can ever play basketball again :(

    May he recover from such a tragedy.

    I find it a bit odd that we play games with a lot of gore, hatred, death but become queasy with real life injuries :p

    This is one of those things that end up looking worse than they actually are. While i'm not diminishing the seriousness of the situation, it's important to know there's very high high high chances he's gonna be better than ok. The most dangerous thing in that (believe it or not) was making sure they got anything restricting off him right away (shoes, shocks) in order to avoid compartment syndrome. The second most dangerous thing is making sure they keep the injury as clean as possible. Bacteria would complicate things bigtime.

    He'll be back on his (both) feet in a few weeks and we'll see him next season on the court. And yea, i'll be the first one up and applauding the effort it will take.

    How did this happen? Well it could have been the torque his body was going through, a previous situation that weakened the breakpoint, could have been the way he landed, possibly a nutrition issue, dumb luck or any number of other things.

    After all the carnage I've seen on the streets... this aint nothing. One year back while on my way to the university, I saw something really ugly - a god damn truck squashed an old woman's head like a watermelon. I can only say that her brain was EVERYWHERE on the god damn street... deamn. And you tell me some puny bone fracture is a problem? He'll heal up like a baws. Tho he'll need a considerable amount of time to restore himself to playable condition.
