Invincible Shabokan IMPOSSIBRU?!

I've heard tons of people going around saying that shabokan is bugged and isn't possible to kill. That isn't true.

I killed shabokan with another 2 friends of mine with this setup, i think with gladiators it took us less time to kill him.

Friend1: Cleric
Friend2: Gladiator/Sin (dual client)
Me: Cleric/Gladiator (Dual client) My gladiator hits 2k autoattack dmg unbuffed, 3.5k with zerk +debuff, i got around 850 attack with dagger/sword unbuffed =DDDDDDDDD



And yes, its doable.. its actually easy lol. I think anuhart is tougher than shabokan because shabokan's life is ridiculously low.

Certainly not impossible but considering you have every skill known to man, if you failed then something went seriously wrong.
Saw the templar almost got 3hit while under constant healing just shows how strong the boss is when it's 3buff up.

 

Which boss are you talking about? Because from my experience shabokan only has 1 buff and he does not exactly hit hard, its his damn rocks and debuffs that deal the actual damage. Or you were talking about anuhart? Cause that one CAN buff 3 times and he does hit quite hard. Well imo you need a templar with a variety of gears, i usually pack my HP Set+shield+mace for shabokan/anuhart and my MR pvp gear for tahabata. People usually fail to kill shabokan when the tank or the healer sucks, or when they dont have a tank and a glady does the tanking or simply when there is not enough dps because of shabokan's heal..

 

Hmm then maybe I've mistaken the boss names, right, Anuhart is the one with buffs and hits like a truck.
Then Shabokan is the one which is basically kiteable to avoid the rocks, killing him is similar to Raksang, just avoid rocks.

 

its maybe SIEL server has full stigma skills? :O more attack skills, unlike LUMIEL, only one stigma skill tree -___-

the cleric only used festering wound because he felt that the dps was good enough. its a lot easier if you stack festering wound + WoD becuase it greatly reduces the healing

We actually do it on lumiel as well, with the right party setup and enough dps you can kill him...

 

ok now I'm confused lol.... now there's 2 key differences between what i've experienced and what you guys have done o.o

-First up, we tried using festering wound on him, it had no effect whatsoever on its heal, and eventually went back to full health even with a full group.

-Second thing, I'm pretty sure shabokan only healed 2 or 3 times in your video, but when I've faced him, he heals for 32k HP every 3 seconds or so, up to full health.

It does, you need to deal more than 32k damage every 3 seconds. It doesn't have many hp so you don't have to sustain that dps for long...2 minutes should be more than enough if you are going to get him down...


I don't know if festering wound and wod's healing decrement work, we still use them both for superstition XD Although I didn't notice that big effect. In theory they should lower his healing to 25% (if my math is correct, considering both lower the healing by 50%, right?) and a 75% less healing should be quite noticeable...We might need to test if it works on another player or if it only doesn't against shakoban's healing which is anomalous by itself...

 

you can actually notice it, heals appear as green numbers and his is quite hard to miss. This is also why I pointed out shabokan only healed 2 or 3 times in the OP's video (which I'm suspecting is a fake video in which you guys paid that thing to fake its own death ~.~ damn furbacks cutting deals with balaurs)

 

Lol, you guys havent noticed that sometimes he heals a lot more than others? Its a bug..

 

He heals the same amount every time we just have a lot of dps we kill him every time(I mean come on we kill Tiamat ) so at least 1 time a day would u like another video

 

He doesnt heal for the same amount every time. Sometimes he heals 16k and sometimes 32k or more. That is the reason why some people fail to kill him. The trick is, once you see that he heals more than it should.. abandon and run away until he restores his HP and loses the aggro.

Btw, in that video with shabokan, you'd have a lot more dps with 3 pve-ready gladiators.

And killing tiamat has nothing to do with your DPS, its all about how well organized you are..
