    Just tried it in-game, I was able to do 4x Aether Flame + Magic Fist with Vaizel, Magic Assist (for faster casting) using Yamennes jewel.

    It shouldn't matter whether you attempt it with an Orb or a Tome. Both weapons have the same attack speed and cast speed. Ping will affect your chances more.
    Orb more MB and is melee for auto attack. Tome more MA and is ranged for auto attack. But these factors are irrelevant to animation delay.
