Unavailable in country.. or whatever it says..

Hey,

NCsoft does not work on my PC; so i used gameforge to download the game. How am i able to change the region to North america?

I run Windows server 2008 and live in England.

It's pretty easy. Once you open NCSoft Launcher, go to File > Settings > Advanced and you'll see the Region option.

 

The gameforge version won't work with NCsoft. You have to download the game with the ncsoft launcher which has to be set to region: north america in the options before starting to download the game. If you downloaded it with region set to europe and then switched to NA, it won't make a difference until you repair the game which will then change the region. If it still does that after installing with NA settings, the most common fix is deleting your L10N folder which includes the NA localization and repairing. That will get it to work

For NCsoft yes, but he has the gameforge launcher and client now xD They are no longer compatible. In the past you could attach the gameforge client to ncsoft and repair it, but right now the NCsoft launcher sees the game as too different and redownloads it from scratch anyway

 

Blah. Seems like you will have to get NCSoft running. What do you mean it doesn't work btw? It doesn't wanna run or it gives you some kind of error? Some more info would be nice.

 

It says "unavailable in your country" when you try run aion, that is the error message (mentioned in the thread title) xD Usually happens when there is a problem with the NA override, such as when you installed with NCsoft set to Europe

 

Then a uninstall and a reinstall with the proper Region should fix the problem, yes?

 

The 'unavailable in this country' is from trying to run Gamez after copying to the gameforge version, my NCsoft has the error 'Unable to contact the Launcher Update server'.

Download that. It's a simple torrent file. Extract and double click it. Your torrent program should attempt downloading the game thru a torrent site you probably don't have available in your country. If the download starts and everything is normal let me know so I can give you further instructions. (There is a chance you won't be able to download it, not sure though)

 

Hello, my ncsoft launcher has no advance settings so i can't change the region to NA, it says theres a new ncsof launcher and it will upgrade it so what can i do to change the region. Please i need help.
