Just hit level 60. How to start farming up gear

I've just hit level 60 on my SM in Siel. Now I wanna start gearing up mainly for PvP . I've been asking around sanctum lately and have gotten many different answers. Some tell me to just do arena and get crucible insignia's everyday but that sounds kinda boring , just log in to do arena's then log out. I'm want to actively upgrade my gear. I've heard about 2 dungeons that I'm supposed to do for good gear ( can't remember their names) but I don't see anyone on LFG looking for people to do raids at all. Getting kinda bored as well since no guild is willing to take me in , most of them don't even reply me. Are there any other ways to kickstart my char in gearing up? Really would like to know.

go bost hunt join those who are shouting nid member's for TA or ET .. specially or are SM u are very needed ..and with those item u will take u can use them for awhile then slowly and slowly makes some trade from the u have hunt .. u can do some Quest too like the siel forgotten ..

 

Problem is that I never see anyone shouting for TA or ET in global chat. Do I have to join a specific channel for this kind of stuff? I can't even find a guild to join. Most guilds that invite me are already dead.

No, people shout about groups randomly. Just keep pressing "SHIFT+V", in order to see which group is free and which instance they are going in. They are all obsessed with Tiamat Stronghold's instance as it's new, so I would recommend you join that instance's groups and get some items.

You have to pay attention to LFG. I just saw 2-3 groups that were going in Tiamat stronghold.
