Hello there...Battleping can be used without that annoying dc at 20 minutes???? If yes how??thank for your answer

 

I think at the place of connection, you have to tick "Connection 2", instead of "Connection 1"

Afaik, you can get new one every 30 days, but I bought it personally, it's really cheap and helps alot. It's not a wasted money

You should use leatrix along with battleping, that should reduce it a lot too. Also, you can always block windows from looking for updates via the internet when playing.

I use leatrix, and it gives me a stable ping. Its kinda dedicated for games like AION, WOW, RIFT, etc. Also its free, you don't dc every 20 minutes so its better than nothing.

Yeah they won't interfere. I used WTFast & Leatrix and my ping was crazy low. So yeah install them both.

 

where are you from and how low was your ping anyway? :3

 

mate im beside a modem...if i install this 2 different programs dont have problems with my network if im beside a modem?

Leatrix has like every player of any mmorpg, u should download it its the best.

 

leatrix dont help me very much maybe cuze im after a router my ping with leatrix wass 350+,but battleping is best for me cuze my ping now is 156+ then 500+ wass before so is best for me and if i can use it and after 30 days expire i very happy!thanks all for answers guys god bless you!lol

 

You people have a weird idea about what leatrix is xd It is not a program, it is not something you install, it is a simple script that changes 1 value already in your system registry from 2 to 1 (more specifically TcpAckFrequency). Basically, windows is set to require an acknowledgment from the server for every 2 packets that get sent. This is optimized for handling large traffic, downloads etc. and uses less bandwidth. The problem is that games require very frequent transfers of really tiny pieces of data and require a server response fast. With the default method, the server is always waiting for the 2nd packet before sending an acknowledgment. By requiring an acknowledgment for every packet sent rather than every 2 packets, you basically eliminate this waiting period and cut the delay in about half. This does not however work for everyone. It definitely does not work for Win XP SP2 and earlier users, they need an additional fix to get this to work.

These other ping reducers work on a totally different principle. Rather than the frequency of acknowledgments, they deal with the distance the packet has to travel to the server. They create a http tunnel that reduces the number of jumps your data makes along the way, creating a more direct path and reducing the overall distance. This reduces the time it takes.

Yes, they can work together, because they do 2 very different things.
