There used to be one for wtfast related to messing with your pc clock time, there was a program that let you "freeze" the time just for that program so it never expires. Either way, this no longer works since as far as I know, they started checking server side.

For battleping, they create a weird hidden file locally that keeps track of when you started using the program and eventually of the fact that you used up your 30 days. You can delete this file to make it as if you just installed it and it starts counting from 30 again.

The location is a little different depending on your operating system and you have to change your view settings to be able to even see it.

For windows 7, open "computer" (explorer or whatever u call it where you see all your folders) and at the top click organize -> folder and search options -> view and choose "show hidden files, folders and drives" and uncheck "hide protected operating system files (recommended), just apply it and close

Next, go to your system drive i.e. C:\Users\<your name>\appdata\local\ and delete 1754111884ee9ab5277ca00.95260103 (apparently the file name is always the same even though it looks weird)

I would recommend you set your view settings back after this so you don't delete required operating system files by accident. I would also recommend telling people in private since we don't really want battleping to take notice and change the way they do things xd

edit: basically for all operating systems just view hidden and operating system files and go to wherever your application data folder is, the paths should be relatively similar

Uh when I stopped windows from searching for updates and when I downloaded Leatrix i dropped from like 100ms to like 50 - 69. But again, I agree with Smartik, I don't know what leatrix does but it worked so yeah I'm just assuming that is what lowered my ping.

The thing about windows updates is unnecessary. It is purely related to downloads in general. If you have other traffic then your gaming packets compete with that traffic. Windows doesn't check for updates that frequently, but when it does (like what, once a week for 2-3 minutes? xd) then your ping can momentarily jump. Same goes for torrents running, antivirus deciding to update the virus database etc. Some gaming network cards are designed to prioritize gaming traffic by bypassing the windows network stack so that torrents and others don't affect you so much.

We also do a trick by using deepfreeze. We have old Battleping. When we reboot the PC, it's like it's freshly reinstalled

with reducethelag you use to be able to keep downloading trials, but now they did some crap update which detects and deletes your reducethelag account if you already had 1 in the past.
