About WTFast

Well the server i always choose to play before is Chicago il2 which gives me the best ping i wanted but it seems like gamez got relocated or something? i always get high ping with chicago il2. What needs to be done to get the best ping i wanted like before? Los Angeles? I need help with this matter.

 

Gamez did not get relocated, ping reducer servers just get overloaded sometimes which makes the ping jump. WTFast does not get this often, battleping is another story xd

Nobody can really answer that without you telling them where you live, which tends to affect which server gives you the lowest ping. Either way, it can't hurt to experiment to see which works best in practice. For example my retail server is in texas and texas server had the "best" ping (around 303 from 450-550) but it crashes often, leading to a ping of like 600-700. I get the best with East Coast (250-280) there even though it is quite far from the server just because it is not flooded with people (texas gets a ton of traffic because a lot of major MMOs are in texas). It depends really

edit: Just remembered, there were threads about gamez itself having issues and people getting high ping all of a sudden even without reducers so it might not be WTFast's fault this time

 

is gamez located in chicago? btw i live in Philippines. Maybe i'll try testing the servers but kinda pain in the a** since aion loads like 2-5 mins everytime.

 

Yea I know the pain xD Anyways gamez is in Lansing, Michigan but Chicago is nearby and has been known to generally have good ping with gamez

I suppose DDoS attacks which pound the server on daily basis are not helping much xd I don't know the latest reason for high pings since they haven't made a public statement. Just few players brought up the issue on the forums.

No ping reducer is clearly better than another. It all depends on where you live, what your connection is and what reducing server you choose. Different reducers work better for different people.

Some people also care about pricing or can't use one coz they already used up the 30 day trial and they don't want to pay

the Ping is better and with Batteping if use server Chicago and is little strange coz i live on the other way on the World
