Sorcerer gear advice

Alright so basically I am at the endgame on retail trying to sort out what sets to get, how many and what their purpose will be. Mithril medal sets are out of the question, the amount of AP they need is too ridiculous for me (just getting the acc). I am basically in need of picking out from these sets

Elite Archon Tribunus - I have this one, socketed with MB, except for the fact that it has attack speed it has amazing hp/pvp def and 6 slots

Kahrun's set - I have nearly enough symbols to get this one, I saw it has a good MR bonus but some people have been telling me sorc don't need an MR set and I should socket it with MB, curious if that is a good advice to follow

Tiamat guard's set - I have 3 parts of this one, all 5 slots so far, wondering if the full set MR compares to kahrun MR set bonus since every part has a bonus MR stat on this gear. I was thinking I might make Tiamat my MB set and kahrun MR set but wonder if I really need this many sets

Kariff's set - Basically the 1 level conditioning arena set, I noticed I would lose a lot of hp, has only 5 slots and pvp def is even lower than EAT unless kept conditioning. The only gain is magical suppression. Wondering if it is worth switching from my EAT set into this since atm my EAT set is multi purpose pvpve but yea has no suppression

Siel's set - How good is this thing? Right now it is pretty much unaffordable for me but curious if it is worth getting in the future. Heard it has great set bonuses but lacks all of magic suppression the other sets have

edit: Also wondering what should my pvp set be? Are any of these worth sacrificing % pvp def?

 

I assume you will want to PvP. My very first char when I joined Aion was a Mage with EAT. I like it, I'd stick with it. Only down side would be not having magic suppresion. =P

 

That is basically what I was thinking. I get so much mockery over 50e not being an endgame set but honestly, I kick ass with it regardless. Yea the attack speed gloves are slightly annoying but the huge MB and MA boost compensate for it really well. Armor stats like pdef and evasion are retarded, especially on cloth sets, they do virtually nothing. When mobs in gelk hit me 600 naked and 550 with 50e set I start to wonder why the hell would I want to even think about upgrading armors xd

Either way if I keep EAT for pvp, should i still get another set for pve? And do I really need an MR set?

 

I'd go for a better PvP set in the long term. I've never been on retail so I can't really say about the PvE set.

About MR? Meh, I never liked it much.

Well should that be my MB set? Is it even worth it considering I bet I lose MA and a lot of MB by wearing it? Also if I do that what should be my pvp set and what to socket it with? xd

Because by the end of this discussion I want to be sure what sets I should get for what purpose and what to socket them with xD By now I don't yet have the answer to this

 

of all that you wrote on the first post. i think its just between the two. the kahrun set and the tiamat set. and you are almost complete for the two sets. if we can get the exact number of stats comparing the two (in which i know u found out already), so i think youll know which of the two to choose from.
and then save up for the higher pvp set (with the casting speed gloves already)
