rangers ms

HI GUYS!


i played ranger during 2.7 but im trying to play it again now...since now is 3.7 and have dual ms all over Gamez....

what ms do i use?...im a solo ranger always...does evasion(atack/evasion, crit/evasion) ms helps a lot in soloing and how much evasion do i put if i hav the latest pvp gear today?...

i ddnt find a new ranger guide so that's y im asking to all of u guys

att/crit is you want just pure dmg however your traps will fail alot and your stunning/silence arrow wont proc often.

If i was you I would be doing ma too.

so do like 3 parts att/crit and the rest ma/crit or ma/attack or attack/ma what ever you want you will stun more, traps will work more often, and you will proc your GS more.


You need atlease 750-800 attack, 900 crit and over 1.4k ma

Uhh, I'd suggest going evasion if you hate fighting physical classes like gladiators/templars/sins/rangers. If you hate getting ravaged by any of these classes, then go evasion.

Another good build would be going partly MR. Since you're gonna be solo'ing like a boss and you dont want gladiators to land every single root on you and mess you up. Also an annoying build against full MB sorcs w/o SoF buff. Yeah, you won't deal as much damage as you would with atk/crit/MA or some shiz like that but hey, Ranger is all about speed and RPS (stunning shot).


There's also the build for a "ZERG MODE" ranger which is atk/crit/MA. You'll hit like a truck with this build but people will land every single shit they have on you

But yeah, it all depends on how you play and what manastones you think fits you the most. I'm just sharing what I know since I, myself, am a solo/duo ranger too.

 

I agree, however I would only do evasion/mr if your acd/hac with acc hat which gives 139 evasion cause you need atlease 3k to dodge attacks and you can't do it with abg etc.

and if you do MR I would recommend getting Haipr glasses ( 183 mr).

I wouldn't recommend soling with ranger, its way to zergy and they die to easy they also got a short basic hide, sin would be best for evasion build and solo due to the advance hides, and evasion/mr skills which rangers do not have.

1.5k - 1.6k is the best, but you might not reach that Unless you do full att/ma with some ma/crit.

 

yeah..i hav sin too...but i ddnt play it since i cant use my combo coz of delays and some lag spikes that gamez hav now...its like we're freezing for a second and w8ing for something and then im dead.......thats y i need to play ranger that can deal with assasins...coz these class can hit me with just a blink...specially those with no animation users .... LOL

 

Like I said a while ago. You can go evasion or MR, yes. But you have to be VERY, and I mean VERY buff reliant with your DPS.

and if your a bad at kiting, then no point of being ranger seen as they die within a few seconds especially to glads.

Rangers can kill any class if they time there dodge/resist skills and kite players.

 

If you do att/mr or crit/mr you will only have about 2k-2.1k mr and really this isen't enough to resist sorc/sms I'm sure you will resist glad roots etc, but sorc/sm nope they got tons of MA skills, and not to mention duo ma/mb stones you might resist a pinkies tho or noobs with mb/hp lol.

I just did the maths for ranger just then, I'm 2560 MR on my sorc and I still get hit by sorc/sm so I would probably recommend evasion seen as rangers can own sorc/sm quiet easy.

 

how much evasion do i need sir to avoid stun lock with those sins?

 

Impossible if sins use there buff and all sins full-buff x.x sins got oath, and other skills which can stack there accuracy to almost 4k.

but if your talking about resisting them without them full buffing which is rare, then you would atlease need 3k.

seen as most players are 2.4k-2.6k accuracy and you need atlease 400-500+ what there accuracy is to dodge there attack it worths like block, to block some one with 2.5k accuracy you need atlease 3k+ block.

Just remember people do accuracy builds too.

but just remember, if you do evasion you will lack in attack/crit/ma (damage).

One more thing!

If your having trouble on what build to choose then -

I recommend just trying a few builds that you want to try, and if you don't like the build just change the stones and try a different build until you find the 1 you like.

Umm, if you read what I said earlier, the MR is built for gladiator roots which you can't pot off but can be removed with nature's resolve but what if it's on cooldown? And about sorcs with MB, you can and WILL resist them. Not all but quite some skills. Some skills that would actually mess you up like ankle snare which will eventually lead to your death. And uh, my ranger's build is 4parts MR +16 and i have 2,298 MR with Sunyaka's Hairpin and I tell you based on my experience, I dont get rooted, I can dps really good too, ofc relying on my buffs like a whore but hey, it's built for that so yea.

Ummm, as far as I know... The sin's stunlocks are based on MA and runes. If you have a significant amount of MR to resist it, you should be fine.




Regarding templar pulls, we all know it's blockable using fine anti shock scroll. So if u see a templar running straight for you. BETTER CLICK IT RIGHT NOW.

 

Yeah well you can get up too 2.3-2.5k mr if you do full MR 16 stones on your ranger but not many players are smart enough to do that, most players just want dmg dmg dmg.

and yes you can resist, some skills but I was stating its Impossible to resist a sorc using Magic supplication buff ( 1000+ Ma for 30 seconds) and Magic assist buff ( 300 ma/mb for 1min).

 

Well yea it is. I mean, WHO CAN? ROFL. And uh, SoF only lasts for 15 seconds. 30 second SoF would be OP

 

Unavoidable, sin's stun lock is bugged. It's just like temps pull and glads stumbles bugs.

 

hm maybe a temp with full MR and aether but I'm not sure lmao.

with full mr they can get like 2.5k MR and with aether it gives 800 mr so like 3330 mr ;p.
