about pvp wipe

hello guys all my chars had many pvps and 3 of them had 1.3k-2.5k now all have 0 total pvps... anyone else have this problem?

 

that wipe was totally stupid, also, I WOULD understand that wipe in the case of 4.0 update or something, today it is just stupid. I dont know yet didn't log on but if they really made that update latelly.. just stupid..


edit: yes YIC has now 0 kills *cries*

 

0 kills, so? Does the kill count actually mean anything? Does it really matter a gladiator has 1000 skills while a support cleric only has like 1? Does it really matter and affect gameplay?
Nope, probably only our egos is hurt.

 

this is the 2nd kills reset that happened in gamez ( if my memory serves me right )
it was done for the sake of the new players, giving them the chance to atleast do something pvp related that will reward them not just ranking wise (AP) but the server kill count as well.

it is sort of inviting for the new players to stay and upcoming players to be encouraged to join and try to catch on the rankings ( those rank freaks so to speak )

the wipe isnt really that bad. just don't worry too much about it, i myself was wiped w/ thousands of kill, but the bright side of this is just too great to even think about losing the kill count.

hence, brand new start , brand new day, fresh so to speak.

Stupid? No. You're just mad your toon lost its kills.

This is actually pretty nice. Now new players get a chance to be in Top PvP list as well.

 

Agreed it's not like players can see your kills anyway expect on the main site but who does that...? lmao.

 

Ironic isn't it? We all know kills aren't much of a deal in actual PvP but you still see people getting mad over the reset.

Kills was reset to give way for people, new and old to be able to participate on the Kills Ranking on the main website since pretty much the names you can see there before are either banned or in-active players. You may refer to this announcement by Carl last week, this wasn't a surprise update:

Expect this wipe to happen every 2 months. Closing this to avoid any unnecessary discussions. What's done is done anyway.
