Upcoming solar eclipse xD

Apparently there will be an interesting solar eclipse the 9th and 10th of may where the sun is covered by the moon but in a way where you get a "ring of fire" around the moon xD

It will be visible at these places: The Hawaiian Islands, other parts of Australia, the southern Philippines, eastern Indonesia, other areas in Papua New Guinea and a small part of New Zealand will get at least a partial show

Make sure you get filters for the camera so you get a nice image

She probably could, just make sure you get eclipse glasses or watch it through another type of a filter so you don't hurt your eyes. There is nothing bad about it (unless she can't get out of bed). Good luck with your newborn xd

"Other parts" of Australia ? After reading the article, it seems that was just quoted out of context.
For those Aussies, It seems the southern states of Aust will get only get a partial viewing unless you live in WA, NT or QLD.
