Remodelling: Orig to Skin - is this still bugged?

is it still bugged?

Since im not vip, i'm planning to remo my Sema GS as skin then remo it to my DDL or HAC GS.

As far as I know, only costumes are bugged since its written (if you dont have item.pak) "Can only be used once for item remodelling". I don't see anything wrong with stuff that you can actually use.

 

No, weapons are bugged too.

 

If by weapons you mean firebolt weapons, heiron kitter's weapons and shadow wraith weapons? Well yea cuz it's used as a COSTUME/REMODEL for a weapon as well. =d

 

No, not them. Remodeling random weapons are bugged too. It's not only about costumes/remodels.

 

I remoed My padma tome to my jewel. Worked fine however you should still record us proofs as this bug is "random".

 

Padma tome to your jewel? First of all your can't remodel different type of weapons on each other. I guess you mean padma jewel o.o.. And if padma jewel was original and you remodelled on another jewel it would work fine, as the padma jewel isn't a skin.

 

The problem here is that it's completely random. You can remodel 20 skins with no problem or you can remodel 1 and lose the skin. The bug is still lurking somewhere in the pit. I can't guarantee if it will happen or if it won't happen.

Personally if it was my remo I would just wait for it to get fixed rather than taking my chances. =P

Anyway I was able to successfully trade my Sema GS without VIP or remodeling it to a skin - ( unless that its already not a vip trade item).

EDIT: Means' sig is too visually stimulating.. LOL !

 

No thats not the case, the bug applies only on specific items.

I will explain this once and for all, the bug (which is actually a fix in retail) happens only when you remodel already skinned special appearance modification items "1 time remodels", what is a special appearance modification item? Its an item that its sole purpose is to be skinned to other items, such as Innocent aris/denim dresses/devil horns/special appearance weapons. Sematariux is a simple dungeon item and you can remodel it as many times as you wish.

We highly discourage players to remodel unoriginal skins due to the existing "bug", whether it's a fashion skin or not because when the bug happens to you, it'll only inconvenience you in the end. Just wait for the whole thing to get fixed/returned to normal in case that so called retail feature will be removed/changed. We'll just have to wait for any announcement/updates regarding this matter. Yet again, it's up to the players. If they can't resist just make sure to take proofs while in the process of remodelling. Video is highly recommended.
