I still remember about 7 years ago when people had 60 kb/s download speed and downloading 700 mb was such a pain in the ass, nowadays I can download Aion in about 30 minutes...

 

Slower than 95% of PH.

Why don't you guys start pinging target servers that are not 10 min away from you @ car? Srsly...

 

Because pinging a nearby server shows the quality of your connection, while pinging a target server simply shows the obvious distance. For example, kimoralii had 355ms at 50 miles, which already speaks for itself in terms of how horrible the connection is while Guiilleh, also with slow net, has 151ms at 150 miles.

If you want to compare quality, you have to have similar conditions. This thread isn't about people's ping on gamez.

 

You have to look at the bigger picture here. Local quality doesn't really help you a lot... though it shows what ISPs we should avoid contracting with xD
