[PvP Video] Prestiged 3.7 Gladiator PvP: The Exodus Ft. Oatcrisp & Chibby

Yo,

Just about a year ago I went over to elyos and made a pvp video with Suhosin, which a lot of people claimed they liked. I decided the next vid I do would be a good one, and as it turns out, my last one. I quit the game several weeks ago, but have been hanging around here until this video was finished. The videos length kept adding as I wanted things to be in it, but it ended up being something that I was happy with.

Special thanks to Chibby and my PvP Partner Oatcrisp. I am sorry we weren't able to get any clips of what we could truly do, but hopefully this will supplement it.

I am officially retiring as of today from online games. It seems that my legion as well, the core members that I have been gaming with god knows how long, are retiring as well; I titled the video "The Exodus" to signify this. We arrived in 2.0 in Aug of 2011 as the GotsCandyGetInMyVan legion and have been doing raid PvP ever since. We are proud to say we are one of the few legions who wasn't caught in those ping pong mindsets. We would take on challenges and never run from an even fight. I am so glad that we have been able to maintain this mindset throughout our game time here, later renaming it to Population Kontrol and recruiting some of the best players I have ever seen. Some of you guys have gotten to know us in game, either on good terms or bad, and I want you to know regardless I will miss you all. I have been able to say some goodbyes, others lost through busy schedules. If I missed you please know it wasn't out of spite, too many people that I know with too little time before I left.

A few special goodbyes.
Cookie - you were probably the most mature, level-headed, and quick-witted person I had ever met online. You have natural born leading skills that gravitated us towards you, me and the legion. You were the heart of what was left of us, and the only connection I have left to attest to the many years of friends that have come and gone. You are why I stayed as long as I did, and you are why I recruited the legion like I did. I wanted for the first time to have a legion without drama, without dissent and without quantity. Having an equal legion where everyone receives the same respect and has the same say in matters is what everyone should strive for.

Onrain - Echi-Sketch, as much rage as you can fume, you are loyal beyond a doubt. If someone needed help, you were willing to help. If you were asked to stay up an extra hour just to finish something, you were almost always willing. When back in 09' we got banned off our server, you recognized the illegitimacy of it and advocated against it. Even though it was your league fingering the allegations, you cared more about what was right. You were willing to quit modding with me, from a team that once had you as head VGM. You learn the games quickly, and understood the core mechanics faster than any of us ever did. I wish you didn't let your emotions drive you so much, you are damn good at figuring out classes and that is more than I can say for the rest of the people here.

Reap - It's funny that we got you as part of a package, ken wouldn't join if you couldn't. You were the one who sat me down in Udis Temple and showed me how the basic functions of this game works. You once said Lockdown is your most important skill, and all my gamestyle have evolved from those basic tips. You are a loyal friend who is willing to help someone who needed it, regardless of your standing with them. While I take issue with your lack of gameplay development, I disregard it as I know you were just trying to have fun. You work a tough life, and with a new wife and kid on the way it's gonna be tougher. I wish you the best of luck with everything, you are the farthest along in life among us.

Josh - The first time I ever met you was an almost invincible cleric who wrecked me in a Colosseum fight. After joining the AM team, we ran into each other pvping, and decided to work together. That night we went to Heiron with Togi and killed... just so many people. Watching red swarms rising and falling on us, it took so long for us to go down that we had an owl named Suhosin watching our pvp from our kisk. After you joined us, it made me so happy that you liked us, the ever-cynical Alente. What we have done in the past year, as a legion, I never would have thought possible. You are a smart, amazing asset to any team, as well as great company. I know your decision is yours, but this server cannot be cared for by someone else if it's not cared for by the owner. It's a sick situation, and the fact that you have stuck with it as long as you have gives me even more respect to you. Still, maybe it's time, you could do more in better places.


Thanks everyone! Also to the length of my retirement, I can say it is indefinite, but it will be at least a year, if not longer, or if not forever.

 

Love how you leave us a nice pvp video for us all to watch. When i first met GotsCandyInMyVan aka Population kontrol and joined your Ts you guys full of fun, i swear almost all of you are jokers xD. Probably told u this many times but i'd like to remind u that your the best gladiator i'v ever seen not only that! your the funniest guy i'd ever met in Gamez community Lol... sometimes when u smoke to much weed then log on TS... i sometimes wonder..... do u ever listen to your self? LOL its hilarious the way you talk.

The video is awesome man... really.... nothing much to say about it.. it's simply amazes me how i watched u gradually got so better in so little time when i saw you as '' Sealclubber ''.... The video just shows it all... Well done man.

Anyways..
this video is simply amazing.
Beautiful transitions, musics, video effects (especially the slow effects to show your fast as fk reaction speed and fast moves that ppl might miss), intro ( quite funny, cool at the same time), THAT ENDING (no words needed), fights ( just incredible fights, fighting geared players too).
To be honest, I really can't think of any better video than this, not just in gamez community, but in aion in general.
Truly amazing.


Now comes the emo part, you leaving us.
Well, simply, it was good! was good pvping, chilling, duelling with you. I probably met you back in 2.5 or so, just simply requesting 1 v 1 with togi and as you stated, being an "owl" in your kisk. sir plz, don't judge me, I like watching others pvp from the opposite faction. Then you moved on to elys side, and played with me which was the best pvp times in my oppinion. You would come on at night, I would too, and pvp so much without any break in the middle. We dueled 24:7 as well, that was hella fun. Time didn't let us film the duel video that people requested, but o well!

Although I will still be in the legion to spend time, it will be different without you. I think I am one of the older members and spent such a quality time pvping. A legion without ANY drama, was just simply fun to be in. Join the ts and hear your high voice and others making fun of you, talk about real life shit, and chill. No one *****ed, (Although we have one doing that now, and u know who ) You taught me in game skills such as slideshot, but you taught me something irl.. you know wat that is

So wat im trying to say is, thank you. Thank you for all the good memories and moments you brought to me, to us and to the community, and I wish you best of luck irl on whatever you are doing and you are going to be doing.

Dam dude, this video was just truly legendary. I literally watched every second of it and I also did learn a couple of things while watching this. Everything of the video was perfect. No one can jump shot like you can. I really got to learn how to do that. I probably should of posted this earlier on your previous thread, but I decided to wait untill your final video came out. Hanging out with you taught me a lot about glad, in fact it made me love glad even more. I remember when I first came to you with a list of quesitons and you were really there for me to guide me on how to be a better glad. I looked like such a noob not knowing what I was doing because all i've really played was just sin and sorc, so playing glad was completely new to me. I was so new to it that I had to go around asking people quesitons of what manastones to use or have them explain me the mana stones of what they do. I also remember that day I spent like 4-5 hours duling you just so I can get better as a glad. That day I made a lot of changes as a glad. Now I can't stop people going around accusing me of hacks and all sort of names. I did enjoy all those times when I did hang out with you guys in pk. I probably should of hanged out with you guys more often when you did ask. I know i'm not the greatest friend out there, sometimes I can just forget who my friends are, and who my friends aren't, and I would like to apologize for that. You guys accpeted me when I needed a friend to hang with or to chill with, and you guys were always there for me for whenever I needed an asmo legion to hang with. I had a blast pvping with you, especially with the rest of the pk members. I did enjoy pvping with you when you did get high at those random times. I never did understood how when you were high you became a monster as a glad, but oh well lol. I'm pretty sure the rest of pk will be moving on as well or least be a bit more inactive. It's sad to see one of my good friend and my mentor to see him go.

Damn dude, I really appreciate that coming from you. When I was Sealclubber you were undisputed the best glad I had fought and was my idol to strive for. You were humble, and a good leader. XD maybe I just smoked too much weed. I love that it takes me out of my serious mindset though, lets me say the most ridiculous things and not give a shit.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video man, I put as much as I could into it.

My legion is on asmo mate . I played Elyos only when they took a break from the game when D3 came out.

One of the few players who actually understands everything that I do.

I think just PvPing non stop with you for those few weeks was just too god damn fun. I kinda miss it, but it was a perfect thing to film. We should have gotten at least 1 more time to duel spam in the last days, but I was always too stoned to remember. I never had a better sparring partner then you, and the scariest part is that you would hold back. I was glad you were able to join us on asmo, and come out of your reclusive shell. We wanted people to want to be there because they felt good being there, not because they had some requirement. I'm glad I was able to teach something.

Thanks man , all good, felt kinda strange to feel those premature goodbyes anyway xD. Like I said before, you are the quickest learner I had, you asked questions when you had questions and showed marked improvement every single fight. I remember when Prime kept calling you a speed hacker, and then you told him you would race him to the foot of pandae. He agreed, you had me countdown, and he took off in a charge. You then waited about 4s, and then put up an illusion gate. I couldn't stop laughing.

I'm glad you enjoyed the times you were there, we really enjoyed having you mate. It sucked that when you were in the legion full time we were getting on really late, then once you only did part time we were on at the more reasonable hours while you were up at 6 am. The times you didn't play with us, can't really regret it but just hope you enjoyed whatever you felt like doing instead. Your a drifter kind of guy, and I get that, no hard feelings. You were an awesome pvper, and it was a blast to group with you or even killing zerglings off each other when we were on separate races.

This video takes me back to how I met you. When we run around sanctum dueling. Pvping together on asmo side and also on elyos side with Glorify I've already had so much respect for you even tho I haven't met you yet. But when you came along and invited me over to asmo side to join PopKon, DAMN, thought to myself that I was lucky to have been a part of your legion. Was a hell of a lot of fun having you around! When you log into teamspeak high, DUDE! HOT DANG! You turn into a freakin bottomless pit of laughter!

Pvping with you has been one of the many memories I have in my heart. An awesome game-planner / teamleader and a beasty beast gladiator as well. Looking up to you has made me want to learn gladiator more. All those fancy slide shots and shit, MAN! You're the best at it. Nobody can slide shot like you do but I bet you cant jump cast right in the middle of 5 gladiators yeh? ROFL.

Well. I wish you all the luck in the world and have fun IRL, Divine. I'm taking a break as well Having IRL problems and going to skew too. Take care beast gladi. You ain't DIVINE for nuffin!
