Vasharti Remodel Failed -.-

Hey Gm.. My char Is Tingels on Lumiel.. I Tried to Remodel my tiamrnta bow to Vasharti Skin i got off my other Account .. Using Guardian bow lv1 .. when i use the Item Remodeler.. it Showed me in the window .. Vasharti Skin.. but when i wear it.. the guardian bow skin lv 1 appeared.. Can u plz Fix this. i Tried to relog.. nothing happned.. So What is the Solution..

 

Solution is that we need video proof or really really good screenshots to do anything to help you out here.

 

Lol how did you lose a vasharti weapon? That is not even an 1 time limited remodel item. Its a simple dungeon item, you cant lose that. Lie much?

 

You guys might wanna remove the remodel NPC until it gets fixed or at least make a login screen notice about it (so you can say they have been warned). Alente can push it through the gamez launcher.

It is a known bug where a skin doesn't carry over a 2nd remodel. He didn't say he lost the weapon, he slapped vasharti skin on a lvl 1 wep (or someone else did to trade it) and remodeling the lvl 1 wep onto tia bow didnt carry over the vasharti skin.

 

I think he/she remodeled the vasharti weapon on those merchant guardian weapons so he/she can transfer it to his/her other account and then remodel the tiamat bow with it. Wasn't there a bug that didn't apply a skin on new stuff if they've already been remodeled?

 

Yea just said that xD It is quite common, happens randomly, there was another report about the bug today. The bug itself has been around for a few months now.

 

That applies only on 1 time limited remodel items such as dresses and special appearance items such as enchanting sorcerer's robe set. Boss drops are not in that category.

 

Read what I said, it is a bug, it is not supposed to happen and doesn't happen every time, just randomly (kinda like the bug where fusion made you lose 1 of the weapons on relog, didn't happen every time)

 

Actually they are? People have been losing a lot of items which they acquired from the instances.

 

Supposed to be like the way i described. I have actually never lost any dungeon items and i have been remodeling them more than once for quite some time now. I dont really know if that's a "new bug" but what i know is that now remodeling is retail-like..as in, you can remodel the dungeon items without problems but you cant re-remodel dresses and special appearance weapons. The bug that smartik describes has never occurred to me or any people that i know of.. but people should know that when they lose skinned "skins" then thats not a bug, its part of the update and as i said dungeon items are not supposed to be in that category.

 

Yea but people reporting this bug are reporting items that are not single use and are in fact lost due to a bug xd

You are just lucky then. From my experience? I remodeled sema staff (Which is a dungeon item) on some low-leveled item, just to have it as a skin. After that I remodeled it on my nhde staff, but it got bugged and I lost it. It was a while back, when that skin remodeling bug thing was still new.

 

It doesn't really matter how and what this bug is about entirely. Just knowing that there is an existing bug concerning the remodelling NPC/process, I highly suggest to not remodel any items using unoriginal skins whether it is fashion skins or dungeon/instance ones since it's risky. But if one is really eager to remodel his items despite this, just make sure to take proofs such as screenshots or videos (highly recommended) so in case the bug occur during the process, you have something to present.

 

If you guys have a dev server you could just try out a lot of //add remodels and trading between each other to see if it has something to do with the fact that it was traded or it happens even if you yourself skin it on lvl 1 stuff and then onto another item without a trade.

 

Everything is bugged in gamez nowadays and there are no warnings about that, there's no MOTD so we can see it and check what is bugged and what is not.. weird.

You should know that not 100% of people that plays gamez has a forum account.

That is why I said these major issues should be put as a warning on the login screen notice (pushed by gamez launcher) so people don't have an excuse anymore. They have been warned, their problem.

At least about the fact that they should take screens/vids when fusing/remodeling just in case

 

Totally agree with you, oh and about screens, I always take them when fusing or doing something to my items.
