Assuming the film hasn't been faked and they are actually where they say they are and not an orchestrated location..yeah they might be real but I need more proof.. everything I have seen could be faked ...so I'm still waiting to hear more evidence. Those guys in the documentary seemed well something didn't seem right about them. But who knows...

Apparently the guys in the documentary are actors, supposedly to prevent authorities from taking action against the real investigators and doctors. The web page I linked in my previous post is supposedly a web page run by one of those guys from the documentary, a PhD. It was taken down by the feds, and this has supposedly been going on for a while. In fact, there's a claim that they are trying to take out everything about mermaid facts from the internet, and at the time the mermaid documentary came out, it was about the only factual piece of information left in the internet about the mermaid phenomena, too big of a deal for the authorities to simply wipe off. Guess we have to say "Thank You" to animal planet, eh?

Keep in mind, all this is alleged facts that can't really be confirmed, so I might be wrong, but it sure doesn't seem like this is a made up story about conspiracy theories and cover-up stories. I doubt we can ever know for sure..
