"failed to initialize game [1024]"

Keep getting that error message. I have looked through the 'support section' so I did, delete the L10 folder, repaired, made sure only English is checked off in the drop down menu. :x I'm still stuck, are there any other known solutions to this problem instead of having to re-install the whole client?

 

Mhm. Is your client brand new or is it an old one that you just updated?

 

It's pretty old but I just recently updated it.

 

It's probably your item.pak. Try this:

Go to Aion/Data/USA/Items folder. Make sure it's either empty or it doesn't exist.

After that, go to Aion/Data/Items and make sure you delete everything inside there. Then put this file in it and try running the game again.

I tried deleting the data and I'm repairing again, so it will be a little while before I try the items.pak , thanks for the quick reply, I'll reply back with if it solved my problem or not. :3

If you deleted the data folder you won't have to do what Meanz said. The whole purpose of it was deleting the old items.pak leftovers which are no longer compatible (the file structure changed drastically between 3.0 and 3.5), but deleting the whole data folder deleted them as well. The client will work after this repair.

You installed the Gamez Launcher in the wrong direction. Install it inside your Aion folder and run it from there.

That Pando booster, sucks all your internet connection to download Aion from NCsoft faster, it sometimes keeps working when you aren't even downloading a shit, and yea, it makes your ping high.

If you got team viewer send me a PM with your ID and password to check your client

 

It is not a gamez launcher error, but an aion one. This one is caused by the dll files in the bin32 folder not matching with the data.pak. In this case I would say delete everything in the bin32 folder except for aion.bin and repair. That will make them all the latest version.

That is because pando media booster is a torrent and you are effectively sharing the client. The upload competes with your game packets, that is why you get delays. There are many ways to turn off pando, such as running ncsoft launcher, right clicking aion -> properties and unchecking the use pando media booster box. There are plenty of other ways you can find in my client errors & fixes thread.

By the way you shouldn't even set the ncsoft launcher to run at startup, you don't need it running to play on gamez.

well i didnt...i only repair game 1 time...and it installed auto....but i saw later it is on startup list...even if ncsoft is not ..i had no ideea i uninstall it anyway right when i saw ...but took me 2 days to saw why lag fk me off

Never seen NCsoft launcher looking like that. Did you change the skin? Anyways that error could be user account control blocking access to program files. Quit the launcher completely and right click -> run as administrator. Either that or turn off user account control completely.

Anyways a few more errors and I will get on your teamviewer lol, this is getting ridiculous, gotta know what I am dealing with.
