So here I am again asking for help.
Im making a SM character. And i cant get the skills and its combos.

Can someone guide me or give pictures of Spiritmaster skill combos.

The basic trick to it is knowing when to hit your fears. Make sure they never expire, fill the gap between fears with dmg. Not much to it really.

Don't think I have ever met a SM in my life that did not use fear. SM that don't use spirits sure, but they always fear. That is because with fear you are absolutely no threat, it is like fighting a dummy. You can't move, you can't pot, you can't fight and there is absolutely no way of getting out of it until it expires. They don't have to plan for any surprises because there is absolute certainty that regardless of who the target is, they won't touch you.

 

True. But still TRY not to use fear. So you can come up with another combo.

 

I tried not to use Fear most of the time. Most scenarios you don't even need to use it. When necessary, classes that deserve to get feared are clerics, chanters and templars due to their survival capabilities to outheal or dispell your damage.

Using spirits is actually a bad idea, there is a reason most SMs don't command them to attack in PvP (even if they're not aware of it). The spirit has awful movement speed and/or attack speed and it gives your opponent a free proc on their counter skills due to its low accuracy. The damage from the spirits auto attack is negligible too. Best you can do is the Wind spirit's Stun and that takes time for the spirit to run there and hit your opponent, when chain of earth can chain a knockback instantly...

 

Ohh. I use the spirit all the time. Ofc you need the Symphatetic Mind. When using Wind Spirit, you can include the Stun from ur wind spirit in ur combo. Earth Spirit can debuff 1 magical skill. So it is still a good idea to have a spirit on ur side.

 

I rarely use fear, mostly when there is a huge zerg and I need to run away. Seriously, people kept crying about using fear in duels and then I just got used to not using it, so used it rarely in open pvp too. SM has to many disables, especially on Siel that it isn't even needed to use fear lol. Like if you know basic stuff about this class? You can kill anyone.

 

What I meant was: Spirit for the buffs, yes, a must. To set it to attack on your opponent, most of the time, no.
Commanding it to attack means too far to use buffs and/or you give your opponent a free proc like it'll probly give Sins a Counterattack proc, or help Glads heal more with their AoEs.

 

I approve of this in a server with stigma system. Recently I've found out I am a real noob at being SM in Siel it is so hard to not use fear, in 2-3s any class can kill me, probably because of my ping though. My lumiel's lowest ping is 200-300 I didn't need to use fear unless they are really good clerics/chanters like Alexxu, I remember I was in a tournament against him and I fail at fear locking him coz I don't do that in world pvp.

 

I agree with you. But spirit disturbance is one of the best skill while using wind spirit XD But doesn't spirit starts automatically attacking when you attack someone? That's how I remember o.o

 

You can set ur spirit to manual state, I always do so it is ready to take damage when using spirit sub.

 

Yeah. Spirit Disturbance is really a good skill. Dont forget the Spirit Wall of Protection using Earth Spirit.

 

I prefer spirit wall of protection on water spirit

 

Spirit Sub + mass fear on a zerg, and then let your party do the rest.

well, at least that's what i do when i'm using an SM.

 

I'm amazed how some people even have the guts to say they don't use fear in pvp (not talking about you Guga ). I do know some of your in-game names and to tell you the truth, there's someone here who said "not to use fear" but spams me 3 fears when he sees my gladiator running towards him shredding through his party. Even called me a zerger even though I killed him singlehandedly, him being at the back of his entire group. Fear as a skill, is part of the game so yeah no problem with that. But seeing you posting and claiming you don't use it in pvp? Dream on sir, next time ima take a video of you fear bombing me in a 1 vs your party. Till then, cheers!

 

Yeah ofc when in party with cleric because the cleric can dispel the debuffs on you.
