Indeed a massive amount of work.

But you will have to make an stance some day, that very same reason is chasing people away.
It seems like a mistake to have them here in first place now that you put it like that, mistakes need to be corrected, regardless the work.

 

Also Woc lvl 2 is hardly the worst problem on gamez...I would give anything that i have on my account just to have the damn geo data of gamez fixed ...ive seriously never played another server with worse...besides that I doubt just because for some magical reason if the admins did decide to remove woc 2 that gamez would really gain back all its players that left...This is kinda like wishing zergs would dry up and blow away...All games have their peak and their slow decay we all know when aion reached its peak so people just need to learn and accept it because simply it wont change.

Remove all those craps and let them unfortunate people who are far from the server play with their 300ms - 600ms ping. Let them ****ing sorc and SM fanboys enjoy wiping them melee asses with 1 hand while the other hand is holding a sandwich because:

1. Magi classes are OP as ****. No arguments. Face it, magi classes are OP. EZ class. I can tell because I played sorc for 3 days and was killings assassins and other magi classes who have been playing for years. I thought assassin is suppose to be their counter-class? SM? Oh please, don't let me start on it. Assassins with dual-silence and WotC L2? No problem. I have shitload of MR and I still land my spells. Everyone knows. Remove the retarded fears and SM still has everything.

2. Melee classes are the more ping dependent classes. 500ms, not capped attack speed. Good luck breaking Stone Skin before you get killed.

Don't get me wrong tho. I don't like the idea of having these OP items but what chance do those people I mentioned have against people who has 2 digit or 150ms and below ping?

2 digit ping VS 400ms - not even a fight
2 digit ping + WotC VS 400ms + WotC - at least we have a bit of a competition here.

We're talking about equally or at least almost equally skilled players so don't give me that crap "it depends on the player".

Everyone benefits from these OP items so what's the big deal? You seriously think WotC only boosts melee classes? Watch them low ping SMs kill you like they're Glacial sorc and you a training dummy with limited HP because WotC and their 2 digit ping almost cancels the animation of every single no-cast-time skills.

Find a way so that EVERYONE can play with 150-200ms ping or below then you can take out the WotC without losing a huge amount of competition.

The real solution is to get a better host or perhaps make NA & EU servers. Now that's more realistic considering how much money Gamez is making out of donations.

I totally agree with all, but I think that if they do that, the server host should seriously change or atleast put another host in EU or somewhere near so players that don't have capped and sick high attack speed can also do something. There are many things that need to be done and take care about but sadly I don't think most of them aren't going to happen, as Luvlee said and many more people before me. We can only hope, but I don't agree with you Ddraig, I think that players must keep posting threads like this so that our little tiny chance of happening gets bigger and that Alente/Carl or any other game dev realises that it needs to be done.

I FOUND THE SOLUTION.........AND IT IS..............woc2 on npc free that will balance for real i think

 

funnily enough it actually will, if everyone's atk speed gets increased by the same amount it will be as if they are removed (sorcs and clerics get the short end of it but who cares bout those)

 

Make siel on EU host and keep Lumiel on the USA one, so that Grrr can rage more
