Want an easy solution that benefits both players and admins? Merge Siel and Lumiel into a brand new server.

Benefits of Merger:

• During this transfer, restrict the transferring of certain items like WoC1 and WoC2 and offer compensation for losses.
• Increased active population to one single overall server.
• Possibly Server costs reduced due to decrease need for one map server.
• Decrease workload, implement updates (or fix bugs) for one server instead of two.
• Stigma system for better class balance.
• More PvP on different Maps, More Sieges like how it is on retail (100vs100).
• Community is less divided among 2 places.
• Able to remove said OP items from Credit Shop.

Questionable downsides:

• Server Stability might be issue during peak hours.
• More Zerging complaints
• Difficult to remove Godstones off weapons. Veterans gain specific advantage in their weapons with 10/10 godstones.
• More bugs, it's rather inevitable.
• Random cases of missing items during transfer.

 

I wouldn't be playing gamez if it was stigma :3 there are better ones out there lol.

 

Hey, if you want the game to be balanced for items, should mean skills have to be balanced too. Rather contradicting to fix balancing items and still have characters can go immortal and burst down enemies.

 

But most of the server is Siel and it's because of the full-stigma, so you don't have any rights to talk about stigmas. With stigma system it would be more balanced but think about all the people that prefer no stigma system and that only stayed because they prefer all skills? It's for me another powerup to Gamez that makes people come to it and prevent people from leaving. Lumiel is deserted, there is no1. It's because of the stigmas and if servers merge it should be non stigma.

 

Why do you think he's looking for "ballance"? He's playin' SM and Templar on "non-stigma tree" server (the most OP classes on non-s.) .

It would be awesome.

Also, you can add this:

• Less complaints about Lumiel being a "dead" server.

 

seeing as people still think it's possible to simply do a database query on WoC2 and click delete while assuming absolutely nothing will go wrong, I think it's a better idea to start from scratch. A complicated and sort of unethical solution for a retarded issue with retarded attempts at solving it, so yes.

Issue # 1: You're right, it probably won't happen, not even if all he has to do is set up the things while contributors pay for it, I for one don't expect things to change when it comes to "unbalanced game because of WoC & Godstones" issue, but the least I could do was put it out there =P


Issue #2: This can really be fixed with some good advertising, and they wouldn't change much to begin with. The idea is to kill Siel and Lumiel by tempting people to move to the new server, so by the time the servers get shut down, the amount of people logging into the servers should be near non-existent (sort of like what happened to crystal). I may not have been quite clear from the looks of it, all that would happen is a third server gets set up and added to the server list, but it would have advertisement campaigns and extra features for people transferring to it from siel or lumiel. This should, in time and if done correctly, ideally kill Siel and Lumiel by...Osmosis? (lmao)

not hard to remove godstones from weapons, they did it before. When they first had the server transfers and i went to lumiel i lost ALL my godstones and manastones. So it can be done.

 

same here i lost around 15 god stones on weapons and I didn't get reimbursed at all.
