problems with the game

I'm a new player and I just downloaded the game today but I got some problems after I opened the GamezAion Launcher.I mean it opens for me but when I get to select between the servers, I have in there : [East]Lumiel - Eng - East Coast - Recommended and another one Siel - Recommended . it doesn't matter which one I pick because both of them are saying the same : No game server is available to the authorization server.
Can yous explain to me what I have to do ? I can see on website there is said that something about region but I can't figure it out,how can I change it or what I have to do to fix the game because I really wanna play it ? Thanks

 

I think you just updated your client to 4.0 while Gamez is running 3.7, you should wait since there are no downgrade for 3.7 yet, let's just wait the Walking FAQ aka Smartik1.

 

i think he should change the region from eu to na, but ye as he said hes new and jst downloaded d game, maybe his client is 4.0, anyway ya, lets wait for Smartik1

 

So all the new players gotta do now is wait? Just downloaded this game myself today and same issue as the OP.

 

I did exatcly the steps which are described on website . I donwloaded this ( NCSOFT Launchers ) the first one Launcher for Aion - PC. I tryed to install it and right before the setup wants to install the Aion I pressed cancel and I tryed to install it from NCsoftLauncher and it just doesn't let me to open it. Second time I downloaded NcSoftLauncher from a different link and I tryed to install the Aion by the setup downloading from that link. Now I'm just waiting to let it do the all Aion downloading and I'm gonna come tomorrow to let yous know about my problem. Thank yous for thoese who replayed.

 

Yeah, I want to copy my 3.7 folders to another location so I can download the 4.0 to try it out, then swap back, since I have my 3.7 folders still but I'm not sure if it will work, so I'm just sticking with Gamez 3.7 to be safe.

I'm sure Smartik1 will have a fix soon, if not already.

 

Currently, if you are downloading AION from NCSoft you will be getting Version 4.0.

That does mean, your client will not be compatible with the servers right now until we release 4.0. As of the moment, there are no downgrades available to revert backwards from 4.0 to 3.7.

Well that's the only way I can download Aion.I cannot download it by NCsoftLauncher because I tryed to download another version of NcSoft and when I open it I haven't in there Aion , only Lineage II and another game so I had to go back to the tutorial from the gamesaion.com . When u make the first step from the website Download & Install NcSoft Click Here , when u click that,u gonna start download the AionInstaller.When u install the AionInstaller , first time they install NcSoftLauncher which I canoot use it and right after NcSoftLauncher is done, automatically Aion pops up on my screen saying that if I didn't had the game before , they have to install it and update it to the newest verion and I can't press cancel or close it because it's automatically closing my setup.And I have to wait again 6 hours to let it download.. I tought that Gamez Aion Launcher , part 3 from the download , it will downgrade and change my Aion to a private server .. or suppose to do that.. I don't know ... I'm just gonna wait ..

 

But there's always a way to get 3.7 version of the game. Just go to a friend that you may know irl and ask his help to copy his whole Aion folder onto your pc.

I'm not sure about uninstalling Aion completely then install it again, wait until the 3.5.0.6 patch then close it. IDK if this works. Needs testing though. I'll try to test it out myself when I get home

 

just post us a torrent link of 3.7 version if yous know it because I keep going on other websites like isohunt.com downloading all the bullshits.. nothing is good.. or I can't find it. and DOndee haven't got any friend playing this game, I used to play lineage2 with a friend who lives beside me but now we want to play this Aion private server and he has the same problem , waiting for me to fix his Aion.

What admins says about this ? Did they noticed the steps they left on site are not good anymore?
The download step is rlly important bcuz that's how server get new players and survive . There has to be added a new link to download 3.7 or if not upgrade the server to 4.0 \ Otherwise server's comunity will be screwed as the population will be frozen and won't be able to grow.

Did admins even read this thread? I think they should since it's a serious situation.

 

In the past this would have been dealt with. Now, ?? Lets see if anyone actually cares to do anything for new people downloading the game...

Make a folder for that, unzip and then you use your launcher and it should work. Im currently online after downloading all 8 files.
