It's Scorching Heat now

 

If Scorching Heat was wiped from everyone who has it cool, but did you know that people had thousands when it used to drop by mobs even in poeta/ishalgen, and somebody who has saved them could simply have an advantage to the rest.

Would be nice if we can get also some Scorching heats from Mobs/boss like, 1-5 scorching heat from every boss in TS... or 0.1-2% chance to get one scorching heat from any mob :w00t:

I actually did do my home-work on it. I simply didn't realize that there were so many still left on the servers from when they were an active item. To which Alente is deciding what to do to rectify. The original item did not stack which would have been a pain as there would have been a limit to whatever space was available, so we need something that stacks and is already in the game.

Scorching Heat, was a summer related item which I figured (now note, this whole event was planned with in 3 days, so some over-sights were made.) would be good as it does stack. I did consider the fact that they were in-game dropable though currently not active which was good.

As far as whatever item we end up with (be upon Alente) they should most likely be tradable and stackable (necessary).

So! My apologies for the failure in item selection, given that this entire thing was written, edited, changed, modified, over and over for the course of three days to ensure that it was as fair as possible for everyone to be able to participate. Hence the sheer amount of forum events being hosted, as well as coupled with in-game events.

It, is a rather massive undertaking for everyone on the staff given that I left them with only 48 hours to plan, write, proof, spiffy, get permissions for prizes, get the events into the schedule (forum wise). Along with normal activities in-game along with forum.

While I can understand some frustration and confusion? Please bear with us at that given that this I think is the first event that is simply this large, and being held. Nevermind the issues of having two people being able to mail whatever it is for 'Special' Prizes, the collection item, and final event prizes. Along with verifying the event logs, the forum events, etc.

Thank you guys for being understanding, critical (which is good so we know what we did wrong for the next time we do something like this.) and of course your participation and time in joining these events both on the forums and in the game itself.

I also know, and can understand if players on Lumiel feel a little jaded. Which is why, Myself, Camila, Uehara are helping out there by hosting events on both servers just so that both shards get the same opportunity to gain and enjoy the festivities.

Event Explanation + Sub-Forum Events have been updated to reflect the change from Scorching Heat to Torn Card.

This should be the final change, as Alente has been more than helpful by going out of the way to assist with finding something that will stack (these stack up to 1000) as well as not on the servers and to prevent cheating by already having them.

Thank you all for understanding, and we will get to mailing stuff as soon as humanly possible.

I was on event RvR, we lost (elyos) even means said we will get Aether flames (now Torn cards) and now i didnt get any of them ? why ?

For any of you wondering about the Mailing.

For the events that have run between 01/07/13 - 04/07/13 They have been mailed.

Also, as a note. Mailing everything that had been going on and done, took a grand total of 2 hours for JUST the mailing. That does not include the other things that are required to be done which turned it into a grand total of about 7 hours of just taking care of the events and forum events, etc.

^_^ Fun to mail all the stuff though because it makes me happy you guys are enjoying the game =)

Sooo dun think that, were slacking if sometimes it takes a little to get you stuff. It really does take more time than what the S.AM's and AM's gotta spend with their mails. Sheepers though I didn't think it would be like that long!!! Ah well! FOR THE SWARM!!!!!
