Would it be possible to modify the section not to display those reports or post? Can it modified into like a pm method wherein the reporter (poster) will just have to input the necessary info about the report and it will automatically go to a page or forum that is not visible by normal users?

I noticed that w/ the current set up, most of the reported folks that has access to this section can easily change name or transfer gears/items and delete that character and move on. Especially, for those reports that a GM would need time to review. Though, unless this is still something that you can still trace, then you can ignore this post.

    Thanks!

100% with you there, GM's either need to be online 24/7 and instantly checking reports or the reports need to go Shadow Walk for good... I still remember those impersonators and that one WoC2-WoC1 scammer changing toons and transferring crap as soon as a report was filed, quite counter-productive really..

Would also be nice if there could be a way to make the reports a 2-way channel between the reporter and staff only, I'd be surprised if vBulletin hasn't provided the adequate tools for this, or if there is not a plug-in for it.

Or maybe a private report via PM to staff members?

if you want to get a bunch of angry GMs replying to this post about why that's counter-productive, then yea lmao... problem with that is either you PM one GM or you PM all...if you PM one, there's a chance the GM won't attend it or won't reply fast enough, and if you PM all, there's an even bigger chance that all or most GM's clash as they try and check your report without even knowing that there's someone else also checking the report xd

if they can try to have the reports routed to a forum (page) not visible by normal users that would be a good thing. For those reporting will be given a case numer or id that they can check the status (just like the ban appeal). We'll, i know its going to be a much of a work but It's one way of having those reports not going to waste

I do agree with the reports needing to be hidden from anyone but ams/admins just like staff feedback is hidden to everyone but ham/admin.
