Lag and Classes

Hey, I have an assassin and without wtfast my ping is usually over 550ms (I live in Europe), what doesn't happen in other games/servers that are located in the US. Anyway, with wtfast I can get around ~250 ms. Sometimes I can get 160 if there I am an isolated place, but it never lasts for long.

Do you think that I would be able to pvp properly with that? Could I even "weave"?
I don't feel very comfortable with a sin having this ping and I might make a sorcerer. Would a sorcerer have any problem with that ping?

 

So, any answer? I really hate not to be able to play what I want because of the delay (lag)

 

good if you knew the sorcerer and sm are not affected by both the ping are casting, dps instead to affects them but my ping is normally 80 to 120 and when I have a lot I have 400ms lag and I change the sorcerer and play too But when you have over 400ms ping recommend you do not play with a ranger or sorcerer, is my personal opinion

 

Hum... thanks With wtfast I don't usually reach more than 300.

 

I beg to disagree with this statement, Sorcerers isn't really affected with 400ms =/

@Pedrocosta19 I wouldn't recommend you playing assasin with your 500+ Ping, along with ranger, melee classes rely too much on ping.I would suggest play with Sorcerer.

500ms = casting type class
300ms = ranger/glad/chanter/templar would be fine
assassin = 100-200ms below for best gameplay

ive try playing sin with 300+ms and it scks. other class is fine.
im not pro so maybe

^^ not true... Any ping above 200 imo would be a horrible playing experience...

doesn't matter which class you pick... If you have bad ping all the classes will suck to play.


I use battleping it seems to help alot.

Can't seem to agree with this.
Theres thousands of players in this server with 200 up ping and they can pawnasses well. Not horrible at all. Infact I play with like 300-500 Ping. Duel me xD

you guys have any idea what program should i use to lower my ping , i tried using BP even bought a subscription but it didnt work so i was lucky got a refund, tried wtfast works but not as much as i want, without wtfast my ping is 600 to 1k with wtfast its 300 to 450 i live in Asia any suggestions ? i dont wanna change server

Well I've played both classes on 160-250 and 50-80 ping and I have to say that both are affected but on a scale of 1 to 100 sin is affected 100 and sorcerer 40.

or yea try to duel Lhuv with his 300-500ms and lets see if your statement is true

250ms for an assassin is still borderline bearable. I was playing the class with 250ms - 300ms and I was still able to weave a bit (only when the target has no longer Remove Shock) and was able to fight toe to toe with assassins who has 2 digit ping.

If your ping is anything above 400ms, I'd say just play Spirit Master. Doesn't matter how much you're lagging as long as you're able to Fear the shit out of your target then you're good to go compared to other classes.

 

Well even with direct ip my ping is no less then 300 400 u think its the server and my location that can be he reason or my net speed?
