Is Gamez still hiring forum mods?

 

They may be, its been a while since I've seen a new hire thread (then again for a while I was inactive from the forums) but either way you might as well try if you want

Probably. But, who knows.. Haven't seen that Mod App in ages.

 

The fewer mods the better, there is enough overmoderation as it is.

 

Nooo, closing threads here is a sport.

 

Getting tired of writing a post to help someone and getting "the thread has been closed/deleted" by the time I hit the post button. Too many threads here get closed without ever properly solving issues and without a reason to close them.

 

Is concerning the way the forum has been progressively getting boring and boring as time goes by.

 

So true, I won't point fingers but I see threads closed after a second someone replied to it and didn't answer the question correctly or fully. It's so irritating and I think threads should only be closed if some kind of arguing started or idk what, insulting, etc.

But it seems some mods/staff really love closing threads.

 

Is a sport, I tell you. They even run bids and have incentive rewards on whom does the most closing threads. There is even a mafia that pushes the newcomers to it, they can´t say no, while keeping the higher ups with cleans hands.

 

This has got to be the craziest theory I've heard yet. I like it.

Also, mod apps are open. We haven't done them in ages because well, no one really applies to them in all seriousness.

I thought it was just me who was the only one getting annoyed. Most of them spend more time on the forums than the actual game.

 

Not so much a sport as an art really. Actually more like a way of life. I like to call it the Great Cycle of Gamez

It got thanked by Alente. I really thought that was gonna get you rehired. What a let down.

 

I remember when I was mod. Damn that power to close threads and give people infractions was so intoxicating. I was all like BOW BEFORE ME PUNY MORTALS! And I learned quickly to end things the gamez way which is if someone disagrees with you and/or doesn't like the way to handle things you give them a big ol "**** You", close all their threads, and threaten them with bans.

Oh god if I kept going like that I would have eventually been totally corrupted from the power and probably would have had to been put down by an army or something. Of course they would have failed and the only results would be a lot of crying mothers and widows but the attempt would have been made. It probably would have kept going for another 20 or so years until Alente and Carl would order me to turn my Son over to the Gamez side but he would resist the power and temptation, show me the error of my ways, and I would then use the last of my strength and power to destroy the evil of Gamez and Balance to the Gamez

 

Quite possibly the most brilliant masterpiece EVER.

 

We need beastie, me and dementa back as mods so we can continue the black hole masterpiece saga

 

Beastie was terrible as a mod. He infracted me, a fellow mod at the time, as he was trying to infract someone else. I still have the damn infraction on my profile even though it was rescinded. How do you infract someone by accident? STOP THIS MOD ABUSE.

Sam was the best mod ever.

That was the single greatest thing ever done in gamez. Including events in the game. There's no way that will ever be topped.
