Unfortunately for you yeah the UI will be updated on all clients with this patch.

Though I haven't found it too bad personally, different/weird yeah but not workable.

 

I'm gonna test out downgrading the UI on 4.0 retail actually xd because yea the new UI is garbage confusing and laggs the crap out of me too. I have been looking at new PCs for quite some time now and think I just found the one for me xd.

 

Wont be supported by Gamez although you're welcome to do it for your own client if you feel so inclined.

One more variable for exciting client bugs I have zero interest in dealing with

 

It would be a client side mod (assuming it works, purely optional anyway) xd No server side changes required. The thing is you have no idea how badly it laggs your whole game on older pcs when you view stats on this thing.

What exactly is that thing that causes so much lag in 4.0 ?

 

Of course it's a clientside mod lol, we just wont support it.

 

I've been playing 4.0 for awhile now on retail and have had no issues with lag and I quite like the new UI.

 

Didn't ask you to xd It requires nothing from you, pretty much like Korean voices, colored UI and other crap.

Leveling up takes preparation? xd Maybe an hour to hit the cap while watching anime on the side at the same time lol

 

I'l gonna be a bardy. Bardy is more OP than gunslinger. We've tried it in Ascencion and in another AION with complete and full stigma. Considering Bard will turn you to penguin and have mini nuke, whew boom youll die instantly with his attacks. It's OP.

Alright so what it does is with older computers and even with alot of new personal built computers people are getting small split second lag spikes when hovering over gear. This also includes switching gear even without hovering over the gear. There are ALOT of complaints about it on the NA forums. And the guild I'm in along with other guilds are joining together to petition the new UI due to the lag spikes and other bugs it causes within the game. *I am unaware of the other bugs. I only know of the lag spikes*

PS. Smartik1 if you make something that gets rid of that horrid thing I'd love you long time x3 But seriously I'd totally use it cause I hate the current one. It's messy, annoying and lags.

 

Erm I wouldn't call it split seconds, that's literally half a second and your whole interface freezes during that time, you can't smoothly scroll over items because you just get a whole lot of freezes. I have a feeling it is due to the transparencies slapped on the new bulky interfaces as well as the ridiculous way it loads data now. It is no longer stored in the items.pak and simply loaded onto your screen, they do calculations with that now as well.
