There are some process that I recall him telling others to kill through the task manager. Hell if I remember which ones though.

As I recall, we never really did fix that one at the time. I would have to get on his teamviewer and take a look the manual way since this issue will persist with every ncsoft update (like in 3 or so days when 4.0 comes out on gamez)

By the way you should have seen Alente and his mess xd He had to manually copy out files from his backup folder mid-update and every time it progressed and he got another one of these errors, all his changes reverted and he had to do it again with more files. He had to do this for like 20-30 files overall lol. NCfail did it once again.

 

O.O Had the Issue, Changed all setting to run as admin and did a Repair instead of Update, it Updated and repaired at the same time with no hiccups O.O try it that way?

 

The thing is I told them to do that and they said they did and still had the issue. The thing with gamez is just because someone says a method doesn't work doesn't mean it really doesn't so I can't know for sure unless I watch them do it. I gave up counting the number of people that can't follow the simplest instructions around here and do it wrong no matter how many times you explain it.

 

ROFL.... yea i belive that... i had about 50 ppl over team-viewer within 2 days + added to skype and walked them thru it or did it myself on the 4.0 retail update > was hellish! ><

 

Imagine putting up with that for 3 years. I use tv so often I get "commercial use suspected" popups.
