    try delete original item pack (backup 1st) in data\usa\items. extract Items40V2 from smartik1, that containts 3 files.

    You might want to take it easy with the bumping?? Double posting is not allowed. Consider this a warning.
    And as of now, Windows XP users are not able to connect for God knows what reasons. The problem is already forwarded to Alente so for now, just be patient until he comes up with something....

    so sad :( were in internet cafe using windows xp if we dont have any option we will quit i think :(

    Currently, GamezAION will not run with Windows XP.

    I had the issue myself, though thankfully I was able to snap an upgrade to Windows 7 before the update went live.

    If you are able to upgrade the OS Version, I would suggest doing so. If not, for now while we work on the compatibility issues please hang tight and wait for more information.

    Yes, it is understandably frustrating though that is the only solution to that issue as well.

    here is the scenario... when i update my client ( ahead of time- about 1 hour w/o Alente's announcement) im using my old launcher (3.7) and it works....... i log in my acct and both servers are down (as expected)
    then when i found out, after 1 hour the server is up and i rush to GA website to grab the Gamezaion new launcher 4.0 then this will happen...

    i cant log in anymore due to client error (its just the logo and client error pops out) ... i think the error is in gamezaion launcher... something is missing out for win xp OS file ....(opinion)...am not sure.... so pls fix this...

    But why does regular Aion run on XP? For me [​IMG]win 7[​IMG] I'm wanting to throw it out the window and [​IMG]win 8[​IMG] is a joke for regular pc's. It was design for tablets and and other touch screens, plus I've seen win 8 and I wasn't impressed all, it looks and acts to kiddie like.


    yeah i tried retail and it works i dunno whats the problem in gamez we dont have an idea only alente has the power to do so. stick to puddles says just hang for a while

    When I install Gamez into my folder now my Aion doesn't work!!!! I'm going to re-download Aion :(

    I'm not going to say anything to make of admins or owner's mad, but this issue should been looked at before the update.

    Oh well I'll get the download start and maybe Gamez will find a fix for XP.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

    AION retail runs on XP.. what the heck these guys had in their mind? gamezaion cant run on XP anymore?

    Well I hope they do, because I'm not updating to win 7 and if it's win 8....I'll go back to 98 SE at least it makes more sense and doesn't use so many resources like everything after wards does.

    I used 3.1 on another PC, another 95 & 1 has 98 SE...ever since I upgraded to XP I run it to low virtual memory. Never had that until XP...PC can't manage system resources worth nothing. My 98 SE PC runs with 92% free all the time.

    even in other private servers.... RETAIL doesnt have any problems with win xp os...
    the patch 4.0 file is not a problem too... but the LAUNCHER....

    Every problem contains within itself the seeds of its own solution.....

    I'm getting a windows xp sp3 client right now, for my laptop and going to be trying to get something working with smartik for xp users.

    Hopefully we can manage some form of fix for windows xp =)
