Just a suggestion

Just a small suggestion.
Someone should make a thread/post to show us the basic steps to go throw to make gamezaion work 100%.

Might save some time ...and other people might not even encoure problems.
I saw lots of threads but they are to spread and you gotta gather 1 thing from each ....and considering this is 4.0 I was hopping someone with experience would take his time to improve and bring some more players to gamezaion.

I'd do it myself but I have almost 2months on gamezaion , Im still a newbie and despite that Im redownloading the client because even myself had problems in entering in game ...with the common authority server problem .

So if anyone sees this and decides to do what's right, it will totally have my thanks and atention.

Each and everyone has different issues in updating the game. Earlier i thought that win8 users has the same problem and it was fixed by Alente right after I deleted everything and started anew. BUT! it was not the case, other win8 players has issues with no authorization something and some (like me) had problems with gameclient stopped working. So, I am not sure if all these issues can be resolved with one solution. Though some really managed to get into the game, some of them also complained again that they received (back) the same error after some time.

XP users has another issue, win7 has way different problems too. What really bugged me of is, there are too many threads scattering around the forums, each has different sets of problems and also different suggestions on how to fix things. I've read suggestions about deleting this, running that, change the folder name to this and that.. but I have friends who did nothing but update the ncsoft launcher, install, update the gamez launcher and they're all set. Some cannot get it but repaired the client and went in. Some managed to fix everything by doing God knows what and God knows what not!

So I don't think that 1 thread with step by step instructions could solve everyone's problem.. I think, they need to address each and every error in updating as well as repairing the client. I guess a thread for every OS could be fair enough.

 

this just work for me in windows7 32it
1.after finished download from ncsoft launcher, i was remove/uninstaled ncsoft launcher from my crogram files system.
2.move folder aion from c:\program files\ncwest to drive d:, cause i have 2 partition in my harddisk.
3.delete original itempack (backup 1st) from folder aion\data\usa\items. extract Items40V2.rar from http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f64/[guide]-4-0-items-pak-152985/.

Always gets funny xd You don't seriously expect people to actually know how to fix everything do you? xD I have my errors & fixes thread that I used to update until this new ncsoft launcher mess. Right now we are starting from scratch, have to figure out what exactly works under what circumstances, only then can you claim to have a guide to fixing it.

 

Thats odd considering that when I unistall the ncsoft launcher it takes some game files with it..I'm gonna wait a bit longer for smartik mayb he has a better solution...b4 starting to kill important files.

 

It usually asks whether you wanna remove the client or keep it when you uninstall
