A very easy problem.

Reinstalling? if that's the case I don't need to back up the patch folder since I'm Installing the whole game which will automatically be 4.0 , no updates , no patching needed .

patch files are the downloaded files in 4.0. u could have save ur time if u try what i said if it works. reinstalling doesnt mean from scratch if u keep the patch files for later repair.

What's your OS guys? are you on win7 or 8 or XP? if you are on XP, then stop trying.

hmnnn i fixed Kumisan's PC a while ago.. she's playing now But i cant suggest anything coz I dont know what's in your PC.. I mean, your folders and everything.

Edit: you can compare what's in my PC to a website. hmmm , more like pornhub LOLJK HAHAHA!

 

locate $Patch$ and copy that, transfer it to other folder. uninstall ur aion from control panel. then re install aion. then locate again ur aion folder, put the $Patch$ that u backed up, run the laucher, then repair for the patches to be extracted. wish u luck. if u still worried then back up the entire old aion folder u have.

 

actually the $patch$ folder is a useless folder. I deleted mine. I have 26gb now instead of 47.2GB I had earlier.

 

u dont get it do u. they are useless if u have done updating. and those files are use for file recovery through repair button. if u delete it before u update completes, u will end up re downloading the files.

u must not be reading the point of this thread. idiot. this is not about deleting the $Patch$ file. it is about fixing the problem. deleting the $Patch$ file will severe the issue.

no offense but u did post a wrong information. and who asks how many people u helped? Btw arch helped me in making it work in win xp sp 3 with some of my friends.

Ive known arch for sooo long in this forum than u and he contributes more than u in the past. no one insults u, it;s jsut u mkae urself to be worth insulted.
