Organized "zerg"/group pvp

It would be nice if someone can change reward for arena of harmony, because now u get only courage insignias from this arena, and if someone tried, Arena of Harmony is very funny, 3v3 or 2v2v2, or more, didnt try many times... People dont go to this arena... courage insignias are useless... Crucibles for it would be nice (1k for lose, 2k for win, or less/more, one arena take 10 minutes, and it is really funny)

Or make battlegrounds/arenas instead of Dredgion instance, i didnt even try to join dredgion, and if i try i dont have anyone to play with, so BG/arenas with any reward (1-10 toll for one, kinah, boxes of manastones, ench stones, crucibles, medals, AP or anything) will be more interesting, funny and also another way to get items. Arenas like 3v3v3v3 kill count (time limited, respawn every 30 second), 3v3v3v3 deatmatch (when everyone dead, team with most kills win), 12v12 kill count, and KOTH (King Of The Hill, there is point/circle/platform/item/mob u must hold/kill/hit/stay in, and u get points for it, every second/kill/hit, 2v2v2v2, 3v3v3v3, team with most points win) or many more... every hour/30 minutes/15 minutes or NONSTOP :w00t:

Everyone is sometimes bored of zerging 20v5 or 5v20, it is not funny if u are the one zerging, or the one zerged... Its making whole pvp on gamez... uhm thats not pvp.

And one more idea, about opening special shop... maybe stupid, but anyway... Special shop, with items such as manastones, skins, godstones(no the 10% ones), mounts, wings and other items... Items could be changed every week/month (especially skins). People will earn credits for this special shop from BG/arenas i noticed up there. So we will have 2 shops, one with money-credits and second with in-game-earned credits. It could be shop from NPC.

Oh, but then people wont spend money to buy items... And server needs to run from something... (i know some servers, that have whole-free shop, all items only for in-game rewards, u may donate, but its not needed to get gear, and that server keep going ) SURE people will still pay for credits, to get GEAR... but paying for items such as manastones... thats embarrassing, is gamez so poor that they need to get paid for such things ?

So the point is, to make some fair pvp, instead of this never-ending zerging in katalam.

 

I don't understand why they can't release this. I would literally be on that arena 24/7 if they had it open.

 

Your suggestion is good however things work differently on gamez aion. Please do not post any videos of another server here its considered advertising.

 

That is the reason why they wont release this.
people will always pvp on the arena and other PVP map would be dead.

I can understand that, but they should least do it for events. I remember a while back a am hosted an event simliar to that 2v2v2v2 stuff. I can't remember who it was.

 

Generally speaking, XvXvXvX and the like are reserved for special events.

Why? Currently we don't have any listed prizes for such things. While, yes those are nice and such right now any actual discussion of events and or modifications, additions what not? Sort of on hold.

Mmmm. Has been asked for in the past; and yet, people still don't go to the current Arenas, and or other aspects of the game.

Great idea in thought; though in practice....I remember when people were saying, omg no dredg; why doesn't dredge work, make dredge work. And so yet we have dredge.... And; uh lets see people don't use that, despite the rewards of AP, at least with Chantra rare remodels and such.

Dredgion is PvPvE instance that needs some knowledge and cooperative play to complete also it's only 6v6 so people will have to make groups before entering (not hard at all but we all know they don't) so if custom battlegrounds were to be implemented you'd have to be able to have an option of entering alone or with group.About the rewards just AP and some pots/scrolls/candies would be more than enough imo.Those battlegrounds exist on another pserver and people like them but open world pvp is still there.Finally as you said earlier this suggestion has been made again on a formal "suggestions" thread made by alente if i recall correct but nothing was done so...

come on, it could be because of these things, but in reality, it's because there's no communication between devs and GM team other than through Alente, and because the devs are the ones who won't script such a thing. I swear the script is probably easier to create than fixing the actual game (which they still take their sweet time to do), yet they don't do it. We don't even know if there even are devs any more lol. If there aren't, then I feel really bad for Josh n Carl xd

this one suggestion has come and gone plenty of times, and has even been suggested directly by Alente. I haven't seen it happen, and it's one of the main features from other competing private servers. I swear if they were implemented, Gamez would be the Microsoft of Aion Private Servers...the reasons you listed, while valid and true, can be taken care of and scratched out of the list in a matter of hours.

Another thing is, people didn't use the dredgion because it's kinda hard to access, and afaik is bugged atm. The arenas, everyone uses them, but they are open only at certain times of the day, just like dredgion. I never memorized the times they opened, I would just wait for legion chat to get hyped up about them being open, or I'd completely miss them otherwise. If scripted battlegrounds were implemented, they would get attention, because current arenas do get attention, and if they were announced once or twice before starting, they would be full most of the time. It would be a major success in terms of entertaining the Server's population, and would even take some weight off AM's. But the problem still persists, the devs have to do it, and good luck getting that wheel going lul...

The reason to not do something has nothing to do with time and resources but willingness.
The server is indeed with less people that we would like, trying these ideas is necessary.

 

Well, as gamez became uplayable in my opinion last days... zergs in katalam, zergs in danaria... noone in TE.

ahh gamez is unplayable.. still PVP Still Zerg cant 1v1 one rule on Gamez u are zerg .. or u will be zerged. Sieges on that server are Dead.. Instances too.. u can only zerging or staying in the sanct like a ****.. -.-

in this arena can be rewards some credits. can be a ingame shop and there will be Remos Mounts manastones . not PVP things For that credits . These remos mounts manastones will be untradable .

 

Oh, they no longer have candies to give as prizes, wow, when did they even give nice prizes in a PvP event? All I had recieved are bunch of useless candies, useless pots and gold medals which are trash. F*ck your events.

 

Very valueable candies and silver/gold medals + 20m kinah... THATS SO GREAT REWARD FOR EVENT... well i can do my own event as player and can give better prizes... but i think then gamez goes bankrupt, and won't be able to pay servers... Thats the problem of all... they need money... i guess they earned so f*cking much money from governor items... but nvm, still more expensive, still nothing to do on this server
(for those clever people, who will again just say "so leave"... I would, but i donated (DONATED = to help server) already... not many but did... and I am lazy to play retail, even though... isnt it easier to get items on retail than on gamez ?

i see many videos about retail and i see this Arenas Group... and omg.. looks very nice !! its a real pvp you know.. 2v2 / 3v3 or more than it.. is a pity that does not have that kind of arena here in Gamez..
and does not get the whole day in these arenas because you only have to get 1 ticket per char .. ok many people have more than 1 char on the account but even so at most 1 hour arena with several tickets ..
about rewards. I think also a good idea what you said .. we could make some kind of point to buy things that are cheap and "easy" to get in the game for a special shop. How Manastones for example. Simple things that do not have great significance for the people still have to pay to buy items and stuff ..

For me if there existed this kind of arena and even without any good reward I would do it because it looks much better than that pvp Gamez .... at least a part of the daily pvp would be fun! ^ ^

 

i support your idea, would be nice. still...as its taking a lot of time to fix instances and new stuff about 4.0, well maybe this change will be real, but i really couldnt say WHEN.

 

I didnt pvp at all last days... PvE on gamez, is dead... people were doing DLR before, but now they have just to zerg in danaria and get the box... TS isnt worth it... and PvP... there isnt pvp, most of people standing in sanctum, doing nothing... Others zerg in katalam and few people pvp in danaria, but they get zerged, by zergs which moved from katalam to danaria in order to get the box...

I am really missing something like this... REAL enjoyable pvp, real fun from pvp

 

Well, i remember back in days when we PvP'd in Heiron.. the note of Gamez is "Best PvP Server" but why the **** weren't there permanent rifts? Couldn't PvP for hours sometimes.

And please don't tell me now that people wouldn't be able to level up.


Should make something like a weekly/monthly poll where we can vote for stuff which should be implemented by the DEVs that they actually have a goal to do something.
