hi. i'm playing in a gaming cafe.. i've been having trouble with not being able to see NPC dialogues ( merchants/warehouse/etc ) and the only way to fix this is by updating my client, which i did, and it was fixed (after an hour of updating).. but somehow i need to transfer to another pc -_- i dont want to start the whole process again T_T

ive created a copy of the whole updated $patch$ folder in my usb,

if i transfer to another PC should i :

    • just copy paste the $patch$ folder from my usb to the Aion Folder? > DOESN'T WORK still cant talk to NPC

    • or manually install these $patch$ files from my usb to their designated Aion Folders? >
DOESN'T WORK still cant talk to NPC

    • or, copy paste the whole L10N and Levels folder (which seems to be the source of NPC dialogues - not sure ) ? > TESTING

    • or ( ur answer )

please, just a quick help would be appreciated [IMG]

No. You can delete the whole $Patch$ folder. You don't need it.

actually you need that $patch$ files because in case you messed up one of your folders and forgot to backup it for example bin32. you can delete the bin32 run aion launcher then click file repair without downloading the bin32 again.

by installed aion folder, do u mean the whole Aion Folder? or just those replaced/updated by the patch?

so the newest $patch$ folder contains just these two folders: L10N and Levels

should i transfer the "whole" L10N and Level Folders from the newly patched Aion (you know, to be sure i dont mess up)?

meaning during the patching process the files were already transferred to their designated folders so thats why i dont need it right? ergo, i should just copy the folders where these files were transferred to just to be sure?

it seems that we have different $patch$ folder mine has 4,5,6,7,8 folders. try copying $patch$ folder from other pc then transfer it then run aion launcher then do some file repair.
