everything really depends on which class you want to play and what kind of play style you prefer.
from what I can identify, elyos generally has more ccs and skills that allows you to play more versatile, and asmos is more about damage and higher burst.
For instance, elyos sin gets another silence which slows the enemy's atk speed, while asmo sin gets a skill that boosts the amount of attack.
or ely glad having a moveable aoe, when asmos gets unmoveable, but a stronger damage aoe.
I can elaborate more examples if you want.
but yea thats about it from what I can see... i guess it is up to you to decide

This is nonsense. Of course asmos would say they are better and elys would say the same as well. Admins are better!

The skills are pretty balanced so if an elyos gets say the boon of strength then asmo sorc gets the boon of quickness and so on. In some cases though i really prefer asmodian for example on templar i played ely for over a year and then rolled to asmo and been there for around 2 years and i have to say that generally asmo templars are so much better, for me.
