PS - aethertech isn't plate, it's magic chain like cleric....

 

Which is stupid, it's a fucking machine, it must use physical attacks at least

 

it should have used physical for melee and magic for the couple of ranged stuff it has (like chanter and the base mboost it has on staff)
cause i can't even imagine how a 25 meter lazer attack is gonne be "physical"

 

Like the gunner its attack are powered by aether... but I agree it should have been a mixed one.

 

Well, mixed sounds fine for me, and rangers' attack range is 25m..

 

a ranger uses physical projectiles, an aethertech uses a beam of light, see the differance ?

 

I still don't know how its attack will be, but not 100% of them have to be magic based, as you said, melees attacks should be physical xd

 

Ddraig should be happy on the upcoming class on 4.5 coz of his fascination with armored core XD

 

If it were in any other game where having mechs would make sense, then yeah.
But I ll try the class alright.

 

Aether, best excuse for adding any and everything when you're too lazy to actually make a good reason for it. 3 meter rocket launcher ? Aether. Giant robots fighting against morbidly disfigured child-like humanoids ? Aether. Crafting a hoverbike from pollinating other people's indoor plants? Well you guessed it, aether nigglet...
