Bard the new dps magic class?

I didn't read everything you said but. it's because Bard has fast but MID DPS while sorc has slow but HIGH DPS

bards may not have better single DPS then a sorc however they got alot of instant skills and fast magical chain skills that add up in damage faster then the amount of time it takes for a sorc to cast a nuke spell for example song of ice (bard skill) is a 3 hit chain skill that can do 3-5k damage on each hit so thats around 7k+ damage even more if you do critical in total within 3 seconds depending on your ping and attack speed.

 

whatever you say doesnt matter to me, who cares if sorc has slow cast skill, theres woc2 awakening scroll and skill thats makes the cast 50% faster which makes casting fast. atleast no Bard has killed my sorc, I will never in bards hands. lol

 

i know ....i use bard too...whut i mean is i can t understand the dmg sometimes..i m ussing same set on sorc and bard .... and bard do more dmg than sorc with a lower dmg skill sometimes. i guess dmg formula on bard is different . but how come that bard get with about 50% dmg less from dlr aoe boss? i use same set on sorc.

 

To be honest I havent seen a sorc with decent dps in a long time..but bards for sure have faster dps than sorc by faaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr...Its much easier to cast bard skills and you can kite 20x better than on a sorc... And to date Bards are the only class that stand even a 1% chance at beating an sm where sorc has no chance...So if your asking which is better? Sorc<Bard Also I dont even know the last time I seen a 10k crit on a full geared player with a sorc..just saying...oh and my Full mr bard crits for 7-8k so yea MB totally not needed lolz....I mean seriously what is more op than sleep, para, sleep, silence lock, debuff, bind , nuke in 2 seconds...OP.

 

Bards are pretty dangerous mostly because people like me who never played the class dont know their skills, but once we get to know them we ll know what to expect and it wont be as hard. Damage wise sorc is obviously better, over all bard might win though since it has heals..

 

bard vs sorc is a walk in the park for a bard mostly because they cant really be silenced or slept...and the bard can kill the sorc ina bout 6 seconds lol.

3k dmg shield that lasts 30 seconds and heals for like 140 every few seconds
heal over time for about 500 (instant cast)
heal mp over time and gives about 1700 mp (instant cast)
root (instant cast)
There is a lot more but this is just naming a few off the top of my head...

Bards dont have silence and very few CCs. Unlike sorc. Both of them have different strength but sorcs have better damage than bard.

 

i think bard has silence skill sir

 

they have paralyze skill, gunner have silence

Bards have a silence skill however it's not instant silence like the silence of a sorcerer or spiritmaster it's basically a 3 combo chain skill with a silence affect at the end of the chain skill but they definitely got a silence I always silence sorc/sm when fighting them.

At first when I played bard I didn't know they had a silence until some one told me lol




Our silence also drains the targets MP take that sorc/sm.

instant silence, silence,sleep,stun,fear and resist ... UD, Ironclad ... loads of high damage skills with short casting time and cooldown, buff dispell capabilities, healing abilities, MP recovery skills. more?Best of sorc/cleric/SM combined into 1 class .... total fail in class balance... Who will beat bards in one vs one? They got skills to cover silence that are instant cast.. WTF.
