if anyone knows computers help me cause I'm getting really pissed off

I unplugged my speakers from my computer by accident and I plugged them back in literally a second later and now I have no sound

what the hell am I supposed to do

Are the speakers still plugged into a wall socket, or the correct thing on the back (green one)

okay what the ****.. ever since I got my computer I had the cable plugged on the front and it would always work (that's what the instructions on the headphones said also)

so I plugged it on the green one and it worked
wow I feel stupid
