Manastone dilemma

this is with respect to those nice little small gm gift boxes that we get.

previously we used to get them every 1 hour. now its around 2 or 3 hours i think, not really sure.

the problem is, a new player wont have the same number of manastones that someone who came here around 5 to 6 months ago would have. i dont even want to think of the ones who were here for longer periods.

the problem is two fold -

1) your manastones can fail even if you use supplements.

2) these are composite manastones we are talking about here. those are rare, and getting the ones that your class needs are even rarer.

so imagine losing one of those here. that would just bite hard now wouldnt it?

i do have a couple of suggestions which are as under

1) make each type of manastone ( blue ones) available in the store for credits.
2) kindly make it to granting small gm gift boxes every hour.
3) try to make it so that logging in grants you a small gm gift box as well. this way if a player cannot stay on for more than say 30 minutes or so, he/she will still get their hands on one of these goodies
4) this ones a long shot , but im still gonna put it here, DONT MAKE MANASTONES FAIL!!!! ,

part of the reason why i dont want to buy new gear and why i choose to stick to my old APP or partial ambassador and abg sets is cause of the manastones. what do i stand to gain by getting those armors if i have no manastones to put in?

plus manastones almost always tend to fail at the 3rd or the 6th try with me RNG doesnt love me...

But anyways, just a suggestion from a person who doesnt like getting frustrated in a pvp server where there are a lot of very well established pvpers with good gear on them already

 

The manastone boxes are looked into by the Senior AMs and been consolidated on how to better benefit players.
I've formally expressed the same concern, you're not alone looking into this issue.

it takes 30 seconds to relog the same character, 10 if you have multiple so that's a pretty big "NO"

 

excellent point, i was trying to address a different issue though. if we could get the gift boxes every hour like it used to be, then it would be pretty awesome.

 

nice thread panda. Manastoning is being a pain in the ass now. not because they fail, thats normal. its because we cant even get double manastones by drops. so this gm boxes rarely appear and the Manastone boxes drops are lame too. I wish they were as before. 30min-1hour gm box drop (or socks) and the manastone boxes give you like 8 manastones of 1 kind. that is awesome and will make new players have the easy to make a decent set. Please support this panda that always comes with cookies and good ideas

Nah, the actual problem is that socketing composite manastones takes thousands of supplements which nobody can afford due to the kinah reduction and wipe, what they did is just not logical.. you cant remove all our kinah and lower the rates and leave the supplement price as is. Do you guys know how much supplements cost? Go check.

so according to you, the real problem is socketing the manastones. thats not a problem at all for new players cause they wont have any to socket. thats why i opened the thread. the purpose was to solve the shortage of manastones. the purpose isnt to solve the supplementing costs issue. thats a whole different problem in itself, and yes i know you can go broke, i spent over 300 mili just to socket stuff. but thats not why i opened this thread. this is so that we can get more manastone bundles from the small gm gift boxes more freuqently.

i dont want anyone to lose sight of this. people who have been here for a long while dont have this issue. but newbies do have this issue. and its a pain to not have manastones when you have people running around with shedim or ambassador sets. the least they can do with their app sets is to atleast have the manastones in good supply so they can actually pvp .

as of now, thats not the case, how is not having 300 mili kinah the solution to you not having any manastones to socket at all?

If you had 300m kinah you could have bought the manastones in the first place, so i dont see how not having the manastones is a problem when you have kinah. The actual problem is that most people dont have enough kinah to buy both, manastones and supplements. You either buy manastones and they fail because you have no supplements or you struggle finding manastones by opening the GM boxes because you wanna keep your kinah for the supplements. Either way, it is a problem that needs to be resolved.. unless you are filthy rich and can afford tons of manastones and supplements.

 

good point, except that the manastones you look for are never there on the asmo side broker. the whole point of getting the small gm gift boxes is so that you have a greater chance of getting the manastones you need every hour. also farming 300 mili would take you like 4 days maybe. not really an issue if you have a gladiator or a ranger or even a sin or a chanter .

Asmo side is pretty relaxed, if you need stuff from the broker then try ely side.. if you have dual race account that is..

co-sign, would love to see more of the gm gift boxes, that would be a nice welcome since I wasn't here at the time of its 1 hr intervals.

 

I have yet to have a problem getting what i need :3 and i make new sets like every day lol...its just the nabs who want crit/ attk or attk/ crit who think that it is an actually good build when its not...because those are rare stones to get lol. Thats a Pve build XD lol.

 

in before, many complains about manastones or gm boxes that are flooding their inventory. now complain again to not having manastone ratios...

 

on retail ppl can craft duals ^_^ from green stones with right receipe

 

thts the main reason they stopped the 1 hour gm boxes cause ppl complained that it filled their inventory, now the gm's wont revert back to 1 hour cause it takes effort to change stuff and they did change because ppl whined bout it , and now we are whining again bout them not being enough, as for ely side dont bother each mana stone is sold atleast for 10 mill
