Carl / Alente, you guys need to do this asap

so heres what i have to say.

The new instances arent working and new players who do come into the server can only do stuff like Beshmundir Temple or Tiamat Stronghold. lets face it Rentus base sucks. we went there and got crappy drops.

Now i dont need any gear, if you check my characters you will pretty much understand what i have to say.

Panda is quite well geared XD.

But enough of me, the thing i was trying to point out is that even with the starter gear, the lack of manastones is still going to be harsh. especially if these new players who join your server cannot be retained.

Cherro had suggested something before on a manastone thread i had opened. i have to suggest the same right now, and request that you give players manastones as a level up reward instead of some useless level up rewards. i dont know how complex that is for you guys.

but the quick and dirty solution could be to give your players a bunch of yellow stones so that they can atleast have something to socket in their armor. i had tried other servers before and they do this. the advantage we have over them is the pve element. most servers are just purely pvp oriented. what we have here is special cause it gets you both pve and pvp.

This is what makes gamez so awesome. i personally love meeting new people and helping them out with advice or just instance runs. i dont put up with trolls or just donate kinah. i tell them how to farm it themselves so they can be independent and get a sense of accomplishment out of it as well.

The problem though is that most people dont know where to farm kinah. This is evident in that, they always ask for kinah on LFG. just log in once a while and i guarantee you will see this. i mostly ping back on lfg telling them how to make kinah.

also most people dont know that they can get stigmas from convent of marchutan for kinah. i explain this to every new member who joins <ely on me>. This is the legion that i am a part of.

But no matter how much help i can offer, i cant solve their manastone problems. Another member on the forum had rightly pointed out that manastones are only a problem when you acquire new gear. as of now, everyone gets APP as starter gear with no stock of manastones.

if you were to give off bundles of manastones and sufficient numbers of it so they can socket their gear properly, i think they wont try to spam new characters just for this purpose.

Bear in mind, im not mentioning this for my own benefit. if you check my characters you will see that im quite well geared.

I personally like the fact that you guys made the veteran npc's get back into the game as well. gives people good options really.

I like this server a lot and ive been on this server for around 8 months now maybe. i like this place a lot and i want to see it grow. i want to see more players come in and i want to help as many as i possibly can. i think that the manastones while they seem like a small concern are quite pressing since most newbies wont have any manastones on them.

i urge you to make this a top priority. im sure you have your hands full trying to fix the new instances, but i just wanted to point out that in the end, your players need to be happy here and now and not after 3 months from now. your more likely to lose new players cause of the low manastones problem.

So like Cherro suggested earlier on in my thread, please give bundles of manastones.

something in this range might be good.

thats all i can think of at the moment. im only trying to help by the way. i dont stand to gain much by doing this aside from seeing more happy people and a larger player base when i login

Also one more thing,

if you could make the arena active 24x7 and still maintain the arena tickets concept, it would make it better for everyone. i believe it to be a global fix.

please take what i have to say into some consideration. i believe this is pressing and i like this server a lot

The server would be flooded with manastones with what you are suggesting. It would be better, since the free gear is only level 55.. to instead give free level 50 or 60 manastones, to make it fair and prevent the abuse of the free manastones given from the surveys. It is kind of like what happens now with those free APP gears, people are trying to sell them in the broker or their stores. Though Carl was smart enough not to give any greatswords or spears as a starter weapon, because those could be used as end game fuses.. The arena suggestion is kind of good too, most of the time when im bored, there are no arenas to enter.. And im usually busy so i cant waste my whole day waiting for the arenas to open, i just rather pvp elsewhere.

Even though the GM Boxes are not very frequent, i see that there are a lot of manastones in circulation, at least in Siel. And most of the time i can buy them for 1 million a piece (the good ones) and 300-500k a piece (the bad ones), so in reality finding dual manastones is not as hard as it sounds unless you are looking for attack/crit which is rare because most inexperienced players believe that it is actually a good idea to use attack/crit on their gear, while in reality it is not.. that manastone is useless in pvp and the only actual use of it is for dual wield pve toons.

 

We Have 4.3 and they give starter gear as APP... /facepalm...

They should Give EAS instead!!..

Have you seen broker lately? 10 ma/mb = 300m+ kinah it's ridiculous.

 

EAC/ACD or EGC/GCD is actually available to purchase from NPCs using Mithril Medals and AP. Over the course of playing the server, I've gotten 4 GSD sets, that's like 600+ Mithril medals and millions of AP. Although it may seem like a pain to get Mithrils, over time and some effort, you will get a ACD/GCD set or two.

^ Have to agree with you. There is a need to have more manastones floating around to lower the hyper inflated prices. 30mil or even occasionally 50mil for one manastone is a ridiculous price to pay, especially among new players who'd rather save 100mil on a Tiamat Guard weapon.

 

You dont have to buy them if they are so expensive. I oftentimes find good manastones such as ma/mb or crit/accu for 1m a piece in stores.. So i buy packs of 50-100 manastones for just 50 or 100 million. The broker is mostly full of overpriced items and i almost never buy stuff from there, but you need to check the private stores, that's where the treasures are hidden x,x

 

true. very true. and im on lumiel btw, we do have a shortage of manastones here. imagine this scenario right, people do grind enough for manastones, they get them off the brokers, and then they see that they are screwed cause the manastones fail.

they then realise that they need supplemetns only to find that those are crazy expensive.

what i was suggesting was a way to improve players experience on gamez. nothing more

you make a interesting point, but bear in mind that i was refering to lumiel, and we dont have this luxury on our side. not a lot of private traders and the ones who do open shop sell enchantment stones......

and we do have a shortage of manastones. come over to lumiel and you will see what im talking about

 

I agree and when new gear gets introduced in the game (item mall / new instance gears etc ) players obviously got to manastone there gear up and it can take them months to do it due to there high kinah rates oh and lets not forget new players who have to get new gear.

My suggestion would be for admin to speed up the GM manastone spawning box rate like 3x faster then what is it currently is set at each time new gear is introduced into the game to help players manastone there new gears up especially new players. ( similar to what is was in the past ).

The GM manastone box rate is way to slow now and prices are way to high.

Same and I agree. People are just too lazy to farm I guess. They exaggerate it being too hard to find or overpriced. You guys are just too damn lazy, just go afk or whatever to continue getting those boxes or kill mobs that drop the level 70 stones.

We should consider ourselves quite fortunate that they actually give something beneficiary to players.

 

actually we dont need to focus on that manastone...just afk for 24/7 LOLs...we need to focus more on PVP/PVE and starting gears...so we will be friendly on newbies <if carl/alente really cares>..and i dnt see even carl/alente ingame.(we all see them not always..mybe when they like or new update..) .so they just manAge a game for $$$...and btw this is only game with $$$ and little business for them..

nikpanda got his point here, in other aion server manastone and set is not a problem for a newbie, you can have a set for a class you desire, you can get yellow manastone very easy, plus a kinah.

all you need is to ups your set/weapon, socket a manastone then pvp!

and most of all pvp is all that matters! you know why??

because they can buy dual MS, Godstone, remodels of all kind, strong gear, scrolls

and very exciting is the event! there were always event.

i am a player of this gamezaion for more than 3 years but now i quited the pvp makes me boring, coz looks like a child play i hate the war-zone!

 

You didn't quite get what I wrote there buddy. I said go afk to get the GM boxes or kill mobs that drop level 70 stones. I stated that as an option since I don't have the slightest idea if there are actually mobs that drop the level 70 stones or not. What I know is however that I got tons of those stones just by being afk. Yes we're talking about Gamez and no, we're talking about both dual and level 70 stones.
