Gunner's Damage

As what my title say, i just want to hear from Alente or Staff who can explain us how gunner do damage while templar in emperian providence, stone skin even used Empyrean armor at the same time. it just a gunner is like the version of sorc but the attack speed is more faster^^. is there problem on that class or bug? seriously i think they are the most highest DPS in any class right now considerng the fast pace attack speed.

 

No class can beat the assassin DPS to this day. Each class has its strong and weak points. Pretty much sums it all up.

 

just try to test it sir, even Gunner in GPP can take u a second even u r in full hac (actlly im not hac gear) im just getting some info in other players who encounter gunners.

 

gunner with abg acc and weapon can easily beat plate class with amba set -.-

 

I just answer you ingame and yes correct its like a ranger with a crossbow hitting you with no resist damage but well who knows? There must be a way to defend your self from a gunslinger and as AM Razor said all classes has their own weakness on other class. and it really depends on a player on he/she use it.

 

gunner is magic, then why temp with full MR can hardly resist its strikes?

 

Easiest way is think of Gunslingers as Magical Rangers. They use attack speed but based off magic boost. The direct counter to magic boost is magic suppression. There is nothing wrong with the class considering plate sets get minimal magic supp, it could be why you're still taking considerable amounts of damage.

Primarily because Gunners only need 2-3 stats to slot. Magic Accuracy and Magic Boost as the main stats. HP sometimes as side stat. If you're able to resist magical skills, just shows your opponent doesn't have enough MA, which shouldn't be the case against MA/MB focused classes.

 

Most of the gunners use MB/MA build. MA is the opposite of MR so if you got high MA you can easily hit a MR build. Plus MB gives high damage

 

Most of Templar buffs are physical based. You need to raise your elemental def, magic supp, and magic resist to defend against a magical class like the gunner; or simply to kill it faster, its quite squishy.

 

Well I play gunnrr with all top items top tittle top wings and perfect fix ms. I do good dmg only when I use the x2 pvp buffs wich gunner have without them dmg sux as the ams said every class have their positive and negative... cheers

 

Gunners have actually done 7-8k normal damage hits at me ( so if they hit a critical hit it would basically 1 hit me I would imagine or atleast 80-90% of my hp which is odd if you ask meconsidering I'm 1665 magic suppression with max highest pvp defence.

( I use currently best access set and armor set in game ).

Now sorc hit around 3-5k normal hits with glacial & stormstrike so I'm not sure why gunners hit higher almost twice as that perhaps more magic damage on some of there skills then glacial/storm strike? abit OP for a leather class if you ask me.

Gunners also seem to proc paralyze alot I mean alot I guess thats cause there super fast skills.

Tho I can't really judge gunners 100% as I have never played the class and I don't intend too as it looks and seems boring just spamming random skills at people.

Tho I enjoy killing gunners I usally kill them in 3 hits they only win if they get a lucky para or zerg me.

Nothing to do with it. If you weave a lot, you'll proc way more often on any class. About 5% of my damage as a Sorcerer in a 1v1 comes from basic attacks.

 

Put it this way it's easier to weave on gunner then most other classes.

There instant skills definely help.

 

I never done so msuch dmg with pistols only with canon some times if I use one skill wich decrease enemy magic supp -400 listen I think u need to learn that class so u can talk about. .. remember one day older updates with no m suppression on armors sorceres was htitting 7k dmg no critical ... I bored of writing just check all classes ^^

On topic, Gunners hit pretty hard.. with stubborn spirit i have 2000+ magic suppression and over 2500 MR but they still hit pretty hard, good thing they die fast..

 

Yeah most gunners use pistols rather then canon so I suppose it's no big deal

I'm starting to get the class I usally just bind/silence and go for the kill.

Yes I created a gunner but It doens't mean I actually play it.

I was just bored and leveld it to 65 once I get leather I'll test it just to get familar with the skills to make it abit easier to kill those low ping gunners.

Gunners fire fast, is the reason the godstone proc so easily, more so with a macc build.
The aether cannon has the most dmg peer skill I have ever seen. Homing missile can do over 6k+, though the cast is slow.

But against a good Templar with the right buffs and scrolls gunner does not have it so easy, plus most of the big shots here play with a cleric or a chanter in the back, ain´t that simple to pierce all that steel with bullets.

And I insist that gunners are squishy as most leather users, if they got in a stumble/stun lock, they are mostly goners.
